View 6 RepliesI was looking through my settings yesterday and I didn't know what voice over was and I didn't even realise I had turned it on until I locked my iPad screen. I went back to unlock it and was shocked that it was speaking! Its stressing me out massively and I have tried everything to fix it.
My iPad has a password on and I don't know how to turn that off!! It wont even sync to iTunes!
A pop window showed and by mistake I choosed voice command active and now my iPad y block it, I can't type my password, what can I do?

My wife is a teacher of the blind and visually impaired in Maine; I just purchased an iPAD for her assuming Voiceover would work the same as on her iPOD Touch. However, On turning on Voiceover on the iPAD we find that the screen goes black. This is all well and fine for a totally blind individual (it probably saves battery life considerably), but not necessarily so for the sighted instructor, nor some visually impaired people.
I have attempted to determine if this is an option, but have been unsuccessful. Strange that Apple would have changed this behavior. Otherwise, Voiceover works great on the iPAD and Touch. Her students love it.

View 9 RepliesI tried to use the 4 finger swipe as I've been doing right along to get back to the homepage and the page "locked" and now it won't let me do anything-the home button doesn't bring it back and the little button way at the top I use to shut it off for the night doesn't work either.

After installing iOS 8.1.1, I couldn't finish my set up because my ipad doesn't recognize my password. I then tried to changed the password twice. Once with my computer through email, then with my ipad using security questions to successfully changed the password. The changed password worked on my iphone, but then it still doesn't work on my ipad.

the Ipad 2 I have is 6m old, there is a white spinning circle and it flips to the apple logo when I attempt to reboot the ipad and then back to the spinning circle. I have attempted to put the ipad on 2 different laptops and home pc to enable me to restore it, however the ipad is not recognised as a device on any of the other computers, all hardwares up to date on pc's as well as current version of the itunes etc. I keep getting the following error code:"Itunes could not connect to this ipad becuause an unknown error occured 0xE8000068"
View 3 RepliesI Have an iPad and a apple air book and on my airbook I can send and receive emails, but on my iPad I can only send emails. It says it doesn't recognise my username or password. I've only just had this problem with outgoing mail, it seemed to happen overnight. Also how can I check my user name and password on outgoing mail, I have no problem at all on incoming mail.

I have been trying for over a week to set up my ipad/apple TV. I cannot get apple tv to mirror my ipad as it just asks over and over again what my password is. I have created a new password which worked fine to enter this forum for instance. What could I be doing wrong in trying to get in touch with my apple TV. BTW Netflicks app works fine on Apple TV.
