i changed my icloud account. i no longer use the email address i was using. deleted that account, used my new email address to sign into itunes, cloud, etc. on my ipad it's still showing my old account. and i can't sign in to turn off find my ipad and delete the account. how do i change it to my new email?

View 7 RepliesI have changed my Apple ID via my office computer to a new email address and now need to change my Apple ID on my icloud accounts for my ipad and iphone. On my ipad under Settings, iCloud it is not possible to change the data in the Account field. It contains the old Apple ID and it is not possible to select or edit it.
How do I change these devices to use my new Apple ID
It's got to be easy, why can't i change my e-mail address on my iCloud account? It won't edit it just keeps reverting back to the previous!

I Have changed my Apple ID from an old email address that I can no longer access to my current email address. However the old email address is still attached to my icloud account. I have tried deleting the account but I have to sign in to the old email address in order to change it. Unfortunately I cannot remember the password and since I can't access the old email account it is not possible to get a email reminder of my password. When I click Settings > iCloud > iCloud Account on my iPad3, the Mail account under the Advanced heading shows an @me.com address that I didn't even know I had. When I click on that Mail box, a new window comes up showing my iCloud Account Information, and that same @me.com address is listed. I'd like to change that address, but it's greyed out. When I sign on to my iCloud account or use the Settings on my Mac, I don't see any email address.

Another message I had was to use the new email address (his) with the old password (mine). I am confused - I did not have this problem when I gave him my iPhone 4s.
