My 2 month old iPad Mini (ver. 7.1.2) keeps force closing apps, no matter what's open. There are no updates available. It seems that whenever it has to think and load anything, it gives up and freezes or shuts down.

I found all I opened apps staying open so I worry they may use lot of memories. I want close them but I could not find the way to close them, and user guide has no information for this, how can I close opened apps?

Lately I have been constantly getting a notification about my ringer, it keeps on going back and forth telling me it's silent or it's on. It just started to do this randomly. I have tried rebooting my iPad mini, but I still get that annoying pop up, it
blocks what I'm trying to read or type! It will literally flicker back and forth on my screen. Is there a way to stop this? I've looked in settings and can't see anything obvious.
Brand new iPad mini constantly "disabled" even before i get to swipe or passcode screens. Five iTunes restores later and it is still doing this.

I've been looking for a tweak or hack that forces to rotate iphone apps (non ipad ready) when using them on an ipad in landscape mode.
I find really annoying that when I use apps like skype or spotify on my ipad in landscape mode they are always sideways rotated, forcing me to switch to portrait mode. I already have the Retinapad which makes them look way better, but no dice. I wouldn't mind if i can't 2x Zoom them as long as they are vertical...
Any hack o cydia tweak that solves this?
Sometimes I use my bluetooth keyboard with my iPad. Is there any reason I shouldn't keep bluetooth constantly enabled or the keyboard constantly powered on?

View 5 RepliesMy ipad2 has randomly started having what I can only describe as 'siezures' where it goes mad and starts opening and closing random apps by itself. adding letters onto words that have been typed, jumping from page to page on the net and typing itself. It just starts doing this and I have to turn it off.Often the letters will be repetitive such as 'wwaawwaayyaa' it makes no sense I know. It is irratic when it does this. Does anyont have any solutions? I only got it last October and it is not used that much.

Is there a way to force certain apps to be in a chosen orientation all the time?
For example, I prefer to lock my iPad in portrait mode most use. It's easier for me to hold that way.. But, for apps like Netflix or YouTube, I always want to be in landscape, for obvious reason.
Is there a tweak for that?

My ipod touch 2g on some old firmware feels smoother than my iPhone 4 ever since firmware 4.0 I think. Yes I've restored the phone etc lets not go into that but imo ios isn't as smooth as it used to be. Now I know the iPad 2 has the A5 chip so how it is?

Every time I open an app it takes a long time to load and then it just closes and sends me back to the display page on my ipad? Also whenever I try to update apps I sometimes get a message telling me unable to update (done/retry). I have 300MB+ of memory left out of 32GB.
View 7 RepliesI have the first gen IPad and it will close apps and go back to home screen by itself all the time.there is not a certain app it does it on. it happens on all of them. when I go back to the app it either is started from the beginning or ( like on the play store) it is a few pages back from where it closed. I have had my iPad for years now and the crashing is getting worse.
