View 1 RepliesI keep seeing this blue tint at the edge of my iPad's screen, a few mm wide. It's most noticeable on the top edge by the camera, and especially against the grey of the keyboard. I can't see it at all on the bottom edge. Sometimes I'll look at it really close and be unable to tell if it's there or not, but when I switch back to reading I can see the vignetting out the corners of my eye. It's only visible at medium brightness settings. Nobody in my family can tell it's there. I just tried to take photos, blue tint doesn't show up at all.
View 5 RepliesI have a refurbished iPad mini. Recently the email app will not work. It will open, stay open for a few seconds then shut down. I have restarted the iPad, deleted my email accounts and tried readding them, I also have the latest software update. I feel I have tried everything but resetting it.

Its annoying as hell. I can't tell which links I've clicked or not clicked on Google searches. They look virtually the same (purple and blue). Last year I went through 3 iPads that had light bleeding. I love Apple, but I've exchanged the last 3 items I've bought from them (iPad 2, 4S (brown spots on the screen), and an AEBS that sounded like an old sprinkler system.
View 25 RepliesJust a couple of days ago, my Ipad has started getting a blue screen of death. It gets a blue screen, and then shuts itself off. When it restarts, it's unresponsive for about 4-5 minutes before letting me using it again. When it lets me use it again, I have about 10 minutes before it starts all over. I'm hoping this is something that can be fixed whether hardware or software is the problem. I definitely don't want to have to spend $700 for the new iPad as good as it may be. I'm also serving in Manama, Bahrain for the next couple of years, and this island is no where near an Apple store.

View 8 RepliesI accidentally dropped my iPad. Now when I try booting the system I could see only a light blue screen. How can I resolve this issue?
View 1 RepliesSince upgrading my ipad 1 to IOS 5 the screen has started showing red sparkles and lines as per attached photo.
View 7 RepliesOn the edges of my screen there seems to be a blue hue. It's very faint but noticeable when in dark rooms or reading text that is around the area. I don't think this is normal but I have thought that it may be just the backlight from the LED. I bought my iPad yesterday, so I can exchange it if this is a defect.
View 14 RepliesWhen I turn my iPad on it does the normal load up with the apple logo in the middle. After like 10-15 minutes of waiting it just goes to a blue screen and restarts the load up again. Each time it does the same thing with the blue screen then restarts. I've tried holding in both of the buttons and that doesn't work and I can't connect my device to iTunes as it won't fully turn on. I have a iPad Air.

My iPad 4 (16GB) has been unusable for the past week, crashing to a blue screen. Using the power and home buttons I can get it to restart, then it crashes again immediately. I tried to restore it using iTunes, and it crashed to a blue screen during the restore, and now seems to be stuck. I am using a iMac with current software.

View 5 RepliesI was using my ipad and I was on google earth and all of the sudden the screen went blue and would not do anything. I plugged it up to charger and it went off. Now I can not get it to come back on. I have plugged it in to computer and it still will not do anything.
View 7 RepliesMy iPad Air keeps on crashing and then a blue background would come up. To make the iPad restart I have been doing the hold-down-the-home-button-and-start-button-at-the-same-time technique. It's been a short term fix. Recently this has been occurring more often, this time I didn't press anything and it just went black.
IM taking it to the Apple Store tomorrow I'm just wondering can it be repaired or will I have to buy a replacement or will I. Get a free replacement as the iPad is still under warranty. If it was repaired in store how long would it take and how much would it cost??

Since upgrading to iTunes 9.2, my iPad now has this blue tinge to the screen. Anyone else having this issue? I have restored back to "Factory settings" with no change to the colour. I have changed wallpaper, etc with no difference.

I am from Singapore. I had just got my iPad for 1 week. While I was just surfing the net on safari, on a google search page, suddenly my entire screen went blue (the very similar blue when windows crashed)!!!
The first thing I did was to wait. After about 3 minutes, nothing changed. I tried pressing the <home-button>, no response. Then also the <Power Button> no response either. Then I did a hard-reset I knew from the iPhone, pressing both the <Power> and <Home> button together for 10 sec. The screen went black. Like the iPhone, I have put my iPad into Recovery-mode.
I quickly connect my iPad to my MacBook iTunes, hopefully to recover it. iTunes detected the iPad and knows it is in recovery mode and said that I need to download the latest firmware and do a recovery. The firmware complete download but the recovery met with fatal error with error-code "1600"
I tried every suggestion the Apple site suggested, like switching USB port and creating a new admin account on my MacBook. Nothing works. The recovery still fails with code "1600".
Can anyone help me? what must I do? I still just can't believe such a pretty apple device could crashed so fatally.
