View 1 RepliesEvery now and again when I am notified of an email in the native iPad mail app, when I try to open it it says "This message has no content" yet I can open it on my phone or PC. This has only been happening recently and the only way round it at the moment is to reboot my iPad. A bit drastic maybe but seemed the quickest.
View 3 RepliesI'm using a uk sim in my 3G iPad. When I get sent a text message to the number accosiated with the sim in the iPad, a message will quickly flash on screen saying something like "You have a new message" in green writing, and will the disappear again quickly.Has anyone else seen this? Is there a way to just view these sms messages using the iPad?
View 2 RepliesOccasionally, an email message on my iPad will fail to show the icon for an attachment even though the paperclip appears next to the mail icon. Is there a trick to being able to retrieve it?

I have a new iPad 2 and set it up for email. It receives emails but when I open them, I only receive the To, From and Subject. The little icon appears in the body momentarily saying it's loading, yet nothing appears. My internet tech support tried to assist by loading under gmail, then other. Both worked, but the body continues to be missing.
View 2 RepliesWhenever I get an email with a photo and/or attachement, a small blue box with a ? appears. I am getting it on both the iPad 2 and new iPad. Is there an upgrade or program for this?
View 2 RepliesI got up this morning and when I tried to login to my iPad account i rec'd this error message... "AT&T is not able to process your request. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Please try again later (SOH00012)"
Is anyone else having the same problem?
I just got an ipad and I've connected it to itunes to register. After all the registration processes it starts syncing for the first time. After about 10 minutes an error appears which says "The ipad "Jeff's Ipad" cannot be synced. Device timed out". I don't know what to do because I have tried restoring it but every time I get the same message. After I plug it in again it shows up as corrupted and Itunes advises me to restore it, which I did, with no luck.

I just got a new iPad to go with the iPhones that me and my wife have. When I send a message using iMessage to her iPhone it show up as if she sent it to herself. When she replies it show up on my iPad/iPhone as if I sent it to myself, so all the correspondence show up on the right side in blue and the devices don't alert us that we received a message. Also when I message someone else using she gets that too like we are in a group chat (and we are not).

1. I have the USA Today app and I guess whe I set it up I did something that sends me notifications, sound and banner. How do I cut it off?
2. Is there a way to get sound alerts when email is received even if you're not in the email module? Let's say I'm working a crossword and I get an email. The only way I know if I have mail is go to mail and check.
I received what appears to be an app called Zoosk in my email. It will not allow me to delete it. The only option when you touch on it is to open and then it wants you to download. When I try to delete it in the normal fashion it will not show up as a deletable file. How can I get rid of this. It appears as a header when I open my mail file.
View 4 Repliesreceived an email that they are phasing out iworks. does this mean that they will have a new document storage or i need to find a new one? if i need a new one, whaat do you suggest to be compatible with pages and keynotes (is that an issue at all?)
View 6 RepliesToday I received all of my notes from my iPad 2 in my email account. I now realize that I had turned sending them on, have turned that off. Is there any way to get them back? I need them for meetings on my iPad.
View 4 RepliesI can't save attachments in email on my iPad 2. The only thing that I can find is to remove "Stanza", but it is not on my IPad.
View 2 RepliesIf I were to receive a photo within an email (yahoo), is there a way of lifting/saving the photo to some sort of album ?.
And secondly using yahoo, I find there is no way of exiting/closing down each time I leave yahoo mail, without going to settings>mail>close account.
I have been having a problem "that normally wouldn't be one" on a PC. I receive an e-mail with a .mpg attachment. When I click to open it, I get a black box that pops up with the following icons that prompt to "Open in":
1.) Dropbox (I haven't figured out how to use this yet)
2.) Mail (I'm already in mail, that's where I clicked on the .mpg attachment)
3.) Documents (All I have to do is figure out where this is)
4.) Documents Free (ditto)
5.) Free Video (haven't found this either)
6.) ePrint hp (worthless, I have an HP "3 in 1" and a Canon and neither will work with the iPad)
7.) Google Drive (This was my last download but I still don't know where this is)
As you can see, I've been busy downloading apps that I thought might work. I think that I should just delete them all and start from scratch with one application that is recommended.
All I'm looking for is a simple solution to click on the .mpg and have it magically appear and play on the iPad desktop. Is that asking for too much or what? Apple sometimes makes things more difficult (or should I say proprietary) than is necessary.
I receive photos enclosed in an email.
I want to copy them locally on my iPAD mini from an email received.
I don't find a "file browser" to indicate the location for the multiple photos storage.
Afterward, I would like to see them in the panel accessible after clicking on the Photos Icons.

View 1 RepliesWhen I receive an email my iPad 2 does alert me with a beep but does NOT show the number of emails in red in the top right corner of the Mail icon any longer. My iPhone 4 is fine. Both on iOS 5. Have tried soft (keep pressing power button for anew seconds and then move the slider) and hard (power + home button pressed for 10 sec. till Apple logo appears) reboot to no avail.
