View 7 RepliesOnce you delete an e-mail, is there a way to retrieve it from the trash like on the iPhone? Also, could not find a setting to give you a ping sound when you have new e-mail.
View 2 RepliesI moved to quickly (my bad, I know) and deleted a video I took of my grandson. I need it back. Is it possible? I have iFile but I don't know how to get it out of the trash bin if it is in there. I deleted the video from the camera roll.

View 2 RepliesSo far I have tried swiping, editing and tapping the trash can. nothing in the guide addresses this issue. I can't believe all the iPad users are deleting junk and trash individually..I'm up to 700+ emails
View 2 RepliesWhen I delete messages I get a message saying that the messages could not be moved to the folder....even though they seem to leave the inbox.

View 2 RepliesMy kid deleted a very important vedio in new iPad. However, I can only see the trash while viewing a photo or a vedio. When I touched trach it popped a window said: Delete Photo. I can never open the trash to see what's in it. I can't find trash in home botton screen, either.

My MD drafted a lengthy report on his plane journey. He hit send after drafting it and it sat in the Outbox. Another short email was already in the Outbox that he wanted to delete, so he hit delete on that item in the Outbox. The iPad didn't appear to do anything so he hit delete again but this deleted both the report and the short email. Now, my logic says it should be in the Trash folder but it isn't. The email account is an Exchange account.
Can this email be recovered?
When I delete mail and it goes to trash I have to delete it from trash and then it goes to Bulk Mail. So now the trash and my bulk mail is full why is this happening.
View 1 RepliesI have two Google Apps accounts that have always worked fine and continue to work fine on my iPhone, though on my iPad the setting for the Deleted Mailbox keeps resetting to the Gmail "trash" folder. I have a different folder called "recently deleted" where I want to send my mail. I can see that folder and select it in the mailbox behavior settings, and I back out of the menus and eventually hit done and all looks like it has worked though when I go to actually delete a message the old setting remains the rule and when you go back to examine the change you tried to make it has reset to sending messages to the "trash" folder. I have even tried completely resetting the account by deleting it from the iPad and adding it back again though the problem persists. The same thing happens in both IMAP accounts.
View 3 RepliesWe have an Exchange server in house and my customer would like to add 5 or 6 peoples calendars from their mailbox to the iPad. We can add the mailbox as a whole including email contacts and calendar, we could then turn off the mails and contacts and this would give us what we needed. But, we cannot stop people from turning the mail back on and there is sensitive info in the mailbox.

This afternoon my mail app started saying unable to send to trash. I'm baffled, as I haven't touched any settings and up until today I have had no issues with the mail app. I keep my trash empty so that negates the only fix I could find while researching the problem. I tried to go to the specific hotmail account and there appears to be only inbox and drafts listed.

I have set up my mail like my Regular mailbox on my PC desktop. I can't get the sent messages to work or the deleted, junk mail and the contacts isn't showing up, or I guess I don't know how to work the contacts.

I can't seem to move emails from one mailbox to another. When I hit the little icon to move the message, it tells me to click on the mailbox that I want to move it to. However, over on the left where the inbox is, the section where the mailboxes are is grayed out. Can anybody tell me how to get this done? I followed the instructions, but the mailboxes are not where they are supposed to be.
