Jun 23, 2012Just bought a new ipad and set up my Apple ID. It asked me one sucuritybquestion during set up. I started using my Ipad and wanted to download some apps. When i click on INSTALL, a windows pops up asking me to 'improve security and set up my 3 security questions'. When i try to set them up, it gets stuck on the 3rd question. I have tried so many times, the same problem

Jun 18, 2010I have only had my I pad since Monday and I absolutely love it. I use it like a mini laptop. I do a lot of online shopping paying bills etc and was wondering if there is a firewall program already installed. If not is there something I can download for security.
I am not technical at all so if someone could give me an easy explanation I would really appreciate it.
Using Safari And Online Banking
Jul 29, 2010if this has been asked before, but I am unable to log on to my online bank account with the Halifax and this is why:I enter my user name and I'm asked to input my password. There are 3 boxes (vertical) that I need to input a random characters from my password. So I enter the first character then put cursor in the next box below but the keyboard disappears. Can't get it back, and I'm therefore unable to log on to my bank.

May 23, 2010With all the viruses and other nasties out there you can never be sure your PC or even Mac is safe to use for online banking. Even if your software is secure a simple hardware key logger physically installed could get all your stuff.
So I was thinking with no windows operating system and no way to get to it physically without you noticing and it is such a small target for virus writers (not as many around as PCs)
Would it be safer to use the IPad for my online banking? What do you think?

Sep 14, 2011I'm a teacher and our wifi doesn't allow students access, only teachers/empoyee logins work. Recently I've seen students on the network and one of them blurted out that all you need is a teachers iPad/iPod and you could get the login required to get on the network. I was looking around on my iPad and I can't seem to find anyway that a student could get the login for a teacher (username but not password) just from getting their iOS device. Anyone know if that is the case? I'm pretty sure on my MBP that I can show the characters for the password (not here so I can't check). I'm guessing what they meant was that they just get the login from a teacher willing to give it to them and then they can log in. I really don't care if they are on the network but they have used my iPad in class and I want to make sure my passwords aren't compromised.
