Can anyone explain the methods to enable iCloud Backups and the process to buy more iCloud storage in iPad?
View 4 RepliesSo my ipad is saying that my icloud storage is almost full and it is preventing me from doing a lot of things.
I go to settings > icloud > storage and backup > manage storage
It says my ipad is using 63.2MB and Mail is using 113.8MB - this obviously does not add up to 5GB, yet my storage is saying I have used 4.8GB of 5GB on icloud.
I have tried deleting the back ups and even turning off back up to icloud. Then I turned the icloud back up on again and did a fresh back up and the result was still 4.8GB of usage wit the above statistics for ipad and Mail.
I am so confused. I am obviously not using 5GB of storage and don't want to purchase anymore

View 2 RepliesWhy am I getting "not enough storage for backup " when I have 3.5GB of storage space available in the cloud? I have only utilised 1.5GB of the cloud's allowance.
View 2 RepliesI get a message on my IPad 2 telling me it can't be backed up my IPad because there is not enough storage. When I go to settings it shows I have 4.7 GB available.

Received Error Message : Not Enough Memory
This iPad cannot be backed up because there is not enough iCloud storage available. You can manage your storage in Settings.
When I select settings, nothing happens. When I select close, nothing happens. So I held down the power button and got the screen that asks me to slide to power off but it does not recognize when I slide.
Not sure what else I can do...but need to get into settings to lower the memory usage.
My iPad 2 got stuck on a window displaying the message “Not enough iCloud storage” for the past few weeks. Is there any way to remove this error?
View 1 RepliesI need to know about the options to manage iCloud storage in my iPad3. Please provide necessary information on the same.
View 4 RepliesI have an iPad 2 with the least amount of storage. I don't remember how much. I never expected to get videos on it, but I'm loving having videos for my kids and I would like my favorite miniseries to be on there (I already bought it byut it won't fit) Pride & Prejudice A&E version. Anyway, there's so little room I can't even buy a new app. I thought I remembered people saying there were apps or a way that you could stream your movies from The Cloud. Can I? Can I upgrade to more storage by just paying the difference? What are my options?

Is there any way to store more than the ICloud Storage Limit on an Ipad? for instance I want to transfer a bunch of files onto my Ipad using IFile, but it stops at 5 GB.
View 6 RepliesA couple of days ago, I upgraded to an iPad Air. I have a total of 15GB of iCloud storage. As you can see from the photos, the storage is split between my new iPad and the older one. How do I delete the old one and consolidate the storage into the iPad Air?
View 2 RepliesI would like to know how to delete iCloud documents for managing storage in my iPad2. My iPad seems to be getting full in memory and I wish to free up some space.
View 8 RepliesI have a 32GB ipad. I recently downloaded 3 films from the itunes store through my ipad. The last film will not download because apparently there is not enough storage space. So, the message comes up to go to settings and manage storage, I click this button. What it actually takes me to is my icloud storage, which having downloaded videos is up to 4.7 of my 5GB, which is why the last film will not download.
Now, I don't need these films saved to icloud, as once they are downloaded I will watch them off wifi (as my ipad isn't 3G enabled) (I plan to watch them on long train journeys etc.) So basically I just want the films on my ipad and not saved to icloud. And I know I have plenty more space of my 32GBs left!
I'm thinking about buying an iPad 2 to take on a trip. Among other things I'd want to use it to store photos I'll be taking with a digital camera. I gather I can buy an Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit and use that to read the SD card from my camera.
It's important to me to have a backup of the photos. At first I was thinking of bringing an external 500GB USB drive to back up to. However, the small Transcend drive that I have needs to be plugged in to two USB ports at once to supply the power it needs -- so I gather that rules it out for the iPad.
Is there a reasonable-priced storage device in the 64GB size range or larger that will work with the iPad 2 that I'd be able to back up photos or other files to? It would need to be something attachable to the iPad via a hardware connection, not network-connected.
I constantly receive a message advising my storage is full. I have iCloud with spare storage capacity but I cannot 'find' the app as it doesn't appear on my screen yet it is acknowledged in settings?

So i've had my new ipad since it came out and have turned on the function to back up my pics and videos to icloud. So, it's full now and I know I can dump them directly on my macbook but I'm wondering if there is a way to use my 2tb time capsule in lieue of icloud to back up files since, obviously, 5gb doesn't last as long as I thought it would.
