IPad 2 - Viewing Youtube - "This Video Is Currently Unavailable"
Mar 17, 2012
I have an iPad 2 and when i attempt to view videos on youtube either from the site itself or from the app some videos just say "This video is currently unavailable" while others play just fine on my iPad 2 ? Also i noticed when i'm on the Youtube site and the videos that i can play when i turn the iPad 2 to portrait i see grey thin lines through the text while the video is playing it doesnt happen on other web pages only when the video plays.
Recently, I have started to encounter problems with YouTube on the iPad. The first is the desktop version of YouTube on safari. At first it worked fine, but a few days ago, whenever I try to watch a video, the playing area stays black and a message appears saying 'This video is currently unavailable.' One 'solution' I found online was to switch to the HTML5 video player in 'TestTube.' However, as the videos had been working before I didn't see why it was necessary, and anyway when I tried it only a few videos worked, with the rest showing the same message I described earlier. The mobile version of the YouTube site woks fine.
The second problem lies with the subscriptions feature of the YouTube app. When I tap the subscriptions button, not all of them show up. I've tried finding a video by the user I want to subscribe to, tapping 'More From', followed by 'Subscribe,' but this brings up the error message 'YouTube not avaliable.' Subscribing to any other channel from the app works fine.
When I try to log in to the YouTube app on my iPad I get a message telling me the YouTube app is unavailable and then logs back out. I have the correct user and pass so I'm not sure why it's doing it. All other apps are ok and I am connected to the Internet.
I am using iPad 2 but a strange problem occurs every time when i try to watch you tube videos.Although some of the videos works fine while other displayes a message "This videos is currently unavailable". I don't know what is the problem and also the solution so please help..
Im trying to view my uploaded You Tube videos and some work and others come up with an error message 'Video Unavailable' the author of this video does not allow playback on IPod/IPad. But others have worked and Ive checked settings in You Tube any ideas and it plays back ok on my notebook.
Has anyone else had this problem? I can't watch some videos on YouTube....heck I can't even watch the new MacBook air video without it stuttering and freezing like crazy. There goes the multimedia device I purchased. Try it yourself here http://www.apple.com/macbookair/#macbook-air-video
Can someone assist me on how to view video steams on my iPad that require adobe flash player whenever I try I get a message that apple products do not support adobe flash player, yet on my husbands Mac he can view these videos.
I just got my ipad 3G two days ago, and it has, on its very own, reset itself twice. Once I was viewing a video, and the other time I simply put the ipad on its dock. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix, or do I need to exchange for a new one?
I am finally getting to use more regualarly my iPad 2.I sometimes get video attached my e-mails. When i try to view them, it does not work. How can I fix that? As lpwell, there is a site whose videos are only on realplayer. I hav video viewer that can view .ram videos, but how to configure Safari to use that app?
I've seen a number of apps for saving pages for offline viewing but I have a specific need - was wondering if anyone had a recommendation.I'd like to be able to save one of our sites (simple navigation) to local cache so that the site can be browsed offline, including video content played in a js player.
Is there any app out there that saves/downloads the entire webpage, including videos, for offline viewing. I am considering Offline Pages, because it says it does it, but I do not want to pay 5 bucks just to realize that it doesn't work for a particular type of video.
I was videoing a basketball game and paused the recording at half time then hit the record button for the second half. When the I pad was hooked to a tv for replay the second half of the game was playing vertically or 90 degrees off. It was showing in the landscape mode on the I pad screen but the tv was off. The I pad was in the horizontal position with the home button on the right during recording.
I recorded our Band's music concert on my iPad. I want to share it with everybody on iPad. So that Our band can gain some popularity among the crowd. What am I required to do in order to share a iPad video on youtube. Thanks in advance
Have New iPad 3 32Gig 4G's which is not playing HD YouTube Video's unless your willing to pause and wait 15 minutes for them to load. This happens even when using the apple iPad App. All lower resolution Videos are just fine and load as fast as our laptops. Also it perfectly ok with Wi/Fi reception. Am i missing something?
I have a YouTube account but my computers broken so I can't find a way to delete my videos from my iPad 1. It shows only the mobile YouTube, and it's very frustrating to me. I was wondering if someone could help me to find a way to delete my videos off my iPad 1 mobile YouTube.
New to the forum and enjoy reading and learning.I am struggling on how to post a video from YouTube to my Facebook. I went to the IPad user guide and it states - open Facebook and log in (did it) - open YouTube and go to video (did it) but it now states click "share" and share to Facebook but when I click share Facebook is not an option only add to favorites - mail this link and tweet show up.
