View 4 RepliesI have a manual that I would like to have available at anytime on my iPad. I have to download it from a website. I have saved a link where I can get to it easily. But is there a way to save the file to iPad memory where I can access it when I am not available to a wifi hot spot and have no Internet access. It will not allow me to do a select all and paste it anywhere. is there a way to copy and save it?
View 3 RepliesI just got and love my iPad2 and am learning a lot. What I can't do is download a pdf file that is an attachment to my gmails. It won't open the attachment nor when I click on it will it download. I have installed both the iBook app and pdf-notes free also. I have a number of large cross stitch charts which I have purchased in pdf format. Several people I know use the iPad instead of printing all the pages ( can be 20+ or much more), can easily enlarge portions of the chart and with pdf-notes can highlight sections that have been stitched. My Comcast email will open the pdf attachment using the xfinity app, but there is nothing that tells me to save it in either iBook or pdf. I don't know what I am doing wrong. If I have to do something to the settings,

Cool program but after you convert a file...does it save it to a folder or how do you go and find it easily? Is the only way to access it by going back into the original folder on the computer that it was in?
View 1 RepliesI have good reader but I cannot foe the life of me figure out how to save from safari a PDF file for reading on my iPad. Part of the reasons for me getting an iPad was to cut down on printing....right now, I browse for journals on my iPad, copy and email the links to my laptop, download the files and resend to my iPad to use in good reader. I cannot send PDF files to another person from my iPad. I would like to figure a way around this--I have a 64 gb iPad and am barley using the extra capacity!
Also does anyone know how to download archive classics on the iPad for ise in kindle?
