Got myself new ipad2 (i,m new to apple software) and been on YouTube on how to save emailed video clips, and they all say the same thing "download video clip" hold until a popup appears "save video" and it saves to photos. Which is fine. BUT when I hold down and wait for the popup, it appears saying "quick look" or "open in oplayer lite" or "drop box" or "open with..." most of which are apps i have downloaded, AND NOT "save video" is there anything in the settings that I can change to make this happen .....?? Most videos I,m trying to save are WMV format.
With the Mailbox app on iPad Air I am having trouble getting email photos saved. When pointing and holding over a picture the pop up window does not have the save icon. It works fine on other versions of ipad where there is also a save icon that appears. Is there a way? I can copy and print but no save?
I have an email with 5 word documents that I need for a meeting. To save printing them all out (over 50 sheets), I was wondering if I could just take the iPad and view them on screen. Problem is there is no Internet in the building. I have tried reading each of the documents with the wifi turned off and I can see each one. Would this still be the case in 3 days time or does the iPad forget email attachments after a while? How can I save the documents to view in a meeting? I have a memory stick and an adaptor for the iPad. Would that work?
Cool program but after you convert a file...does it save it to a folder or how do you go and find it easily? Is the only way to access it by going back into the original folder on the computer that it was in?
I received a video attachment via email on my ipad. It showed up as a Qtime file at 3.5mb. I watched it then pressed and held until the box opened with "save" in it. I pressed save but can not find it anywhere. Where is it saved. Information : IPad.
If someone sends a photo to me via email, is there a way to save that photo in my galleries? This seems like such a basic function but I cannot figure it out. I'm looking at the email and the photo is visible but touching it or anywhere does not bring up a save option.
I have an original iPad, and I put iMovie on it, but iTunes wont let me add videos to it. So, i emailed myself the footage i wanted to keep on my iPad in my Photo Library, but then i realized: I cant save videos
The manual says to tap the photo and click the photo then click save, but nothing happens when I tap the photo. Only if I tap it twice does it highlight the photo and the copy button pops up, but no save button. Has anyone else been able to save a photo from an email?
Is it possible to save multiple files (ie: pdfs) at once either from the internal mail client or an app? Often times I receive a lot of pdfs from my work email and it would be nice to open/save all of them at the same time, rather than clicking each file and selecting 'open with' over and over.
