1. How do you clear cache and access other options in safari.
2. I have podcasts I subscribe to in iTunes that will not transfer to the iPad. I receive an error message indicating they are not in the right format or something. How is this possible if they are all QuickTime videos?
3. Is there a limit to how many windows can be open in safari?

My KB gets very laggy very quickly the longer my message/email is. Also it frequently doesn't register a press even tho I hear the click. Since I need to look at the KB while typing I have to go back and correct a lot. Is there a cache somewhere for the KB that needs cleaning out occasionally? This seems to be even worse since the last update.

View 2 RepliesFollowing iOS 7 update, is there a shortcut for deleting 'History' aside from 'Settings/Safari/Clear History? I can not video anything any more. There's no reaction when I tap the 'Video' option with Camera...only 'Photo' is highlighted in yellow.
View 4 RepliesHow to do this? I have attempted to clear history, cache and cookies through settings as well as clearing history through Safari. Nothing seems to work even after all that plus rebooting.
View 14 RepliesWas getting sick of web pages having to reload every time I had more than one open so started messing around and it appears liken the Internet cache is being stored in ram or something because I cleared tHe cache and now can have a couple pages open at the same time without having to reload.Incidentally this fixed a couple other issues I was having with YouTube videos getting stuck and not playing as well as one game I have that was really choppy for some reason clearing out the Internet cache seemed to have cleared up the choppiness. Only thing I can deduce is that Internet cache is stored in ram, can't see why else it would fix a game independent of the browser.

I've been having trouble loading new pages in the forum, so I hope these questions aren't something that have already been answered elsewhere (apologies, if they are). I can't wait for the iPad to be available in Canada. Until then, hoping someone can tell me:1) Is there a voice recorder option that allows clear recording of lectures, presentations, etc.?2) I would rather be able to use a keyboard while the iPad is in landscape mode. Will a wireless keyboard work in this capacity? I liked the idea of the docking keyboard but didn't like that it would be stuck in a portrait position (based on the pics on the site).
View 2 RepliesIs there any sort of private browsing for Safari on iPad? I don't think Apple will let Firefox or any other browsers onto the App Store (the joy of a closed ecosystem), so I'm looking for any way that I can browse privately without having to go to Settings and clear everything afterward.
View 11 RepliesI'm attempting to load up some of our web content into the iPad's cache for off-line access using a Cache Manifest. When configured properly, cached html pages are available when no WiFi access is available. This works perfectly on my iPhone and iMac both running Safari, but on the iPad it does not work at all. I have tried this numerous times with no luck - always works on the iPhone, never works on the iPad. I assumed that the iPad is running the same version of Safari as the iPhone, but obviously something is different. I have been able to get a few pages to be cached, but once they are cached they can not be changed or deleted. Modifications to the CACHE MANIFEST file on the server are supposed to trigger a cache refresh and it does on the iPhone but not the iPad. Going into the iPad's settings and clearing the Safari's cache does not work either - the files are all still there. Has anyone tried this with any luck?

View 1 RepliesI have a low memory issue and want to see which apps are currently taking up how much space on the iPad (16gb). Not collectively, but individually. Have not added music, pix, videos for some time, so problem could be from updates to apps, also readers like zinio, etc. I'd like to be able to selectively delete an app once I know how large it is in it's current incarnation on the iPad. Likewise, is there a way to see how large the safari cache is before clearing it?
