IPad 2 Google Search Won't Allow To Search Anything?
Apr 22, 2011
I don't know if anyone is experiencing this issue, but when I go on Google's website on Safari, it does not allow me to search or enter anything. I type stuff in the box field, but when I hit 'search' on the pop-up keyboard or press 'search google' on the page, nothing happens. It works the first time but when you want to type something else, it doesn't allow to enter that search term.I think it may be a minor software bug or maybe Google in my local area is experiencing technical difficulties?
Safari Google Search Box: How To Clear After Search
Jun 20, 2012
The seach box is really annoying because it always looks like it's empty, but then I click it and I am typing text after my last search. How do you get it to clear after a seach? Why would I want to search the same thing twice?
Unable To See Bookmarks?show Recent Google Search History Below The Google Bar?
Nov 24, 2010
Noticed with the new update, when I open a new blank safari page, and then select my bookmarks, it initially shows my recent google search history below the google bar. Then I select bookmarks once it closes the google search history list, then select bookmarks again my bookmark list then shows. Why show the google search history instead of bookmarks as I have selected?
I'm on the iPad and do a google search using Safari. Google gives me lots of search results, but no matter which result I click on, the link takes me to a new, empty google search... shouldn't it take me to the page I clicked on? The only way to get to a search result is to manually type the results into the address bar or to copy and paste into the address bar
Not sure if this is a Safari issue, a Google issue or an iPad issue.
Google search feature seems to be inactive on Safari browser in my iPad 2. It does not respond to any type of searching. Is there any way to restore it?
While doing a search on computers, one of my search results came with porn ads. I have never ever seen this happen before on the iPad or in OS X. I have all the proper setting. I was in shock for this crap to appear, especially from a google search. Anyone else had any type of ads pop up?

Clearing Search History In Google Earth Installed In IPad.
Jun 26, 2012
I am using the latest version of the iPad and have installed Google Earth. I want to clear the search history in the Google Earth app. How this can be done?
When I search for something on Google, the search results would appear as normal. When I clicked a link for a website, the browser just stayed on the same Google search page. It acted like it was connecting and opening the site but never went there. If I typed the address directly in the address bar the site would open. I opened some other tabs and Google search worked fine. I closed those tabs and everything then seemed to be back to normal.
I go to Google, type whatever I'm looking for, hit search and nothing happens. If I hit Feeling lucky, then I get results.I've noticed this only happens in landscape mode.If I search in portrait mode, then the Google search button works.this both on 1gen 3g and wifi that i'm having problems with.
I installed the latest update on my ipad but now when I do a google search, click on a search result and then click the back botton to return to the results, I get a blank screen. So I have to click the back botton again and then the forward botton to get back to the results.
Went back to my history through google history to remember the name of an artist I looked up..
Noticed a search was done at 6:57 am on Saturday for "masturbate". Only myself and girl home and both sleeping. Prior search was at 9ish prior night, and around 2pm that day.
I don't think anyone has logged in or hacked my google account as no weird sent mail or anything else out the norm..
When I type anything to search using google as search engine in my iPad it always goes to google.ca. How can I change this for google.com or any other country?
We've just bought a new iPad 2 & live in the USA. We moved from the UK a few months ago. We synced our new iPad with a laptop that was originally purchased in the UK. Our new iPad keeps defaulting to google.co.uk & we have to manually tell it to use google.com. How can we change the search engine to default to google.com?
