I am trying to log into iMessage and FaceTime but i keep getting the message "cannot log in. Please check your network settings and try again". I am connected to the wifi, all is working OK and I cannot find an issue with the wifi network.
I have just recieved my new ipad (32gb 4g) and im having difficulty signing into iMessage and facetime. When i input my apple id and password it comes up with an error "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again."
My ipad is currently connected to my home network and everything else works on the ipad apart from these 2 programs which both come up with the same error" I have tried resetting the ipad and started all over and that didn't solve the issue either.
Yesterday my little sister got the iPad 2 as a birthday present. After we created her a Apple-ID we wanted to sign in on facetime to try it out. But instead of logging in nothing happend. After we entered the ID with her password we came to the next page and after some seconds it jumped back to the login screen. The same happens if we try it on iMessage...
I just bought the new iPad WiFi but I can't activate iMessage and FaceTime.. I get message about failed connection to the WiFi network although it is connected and I can browse the web, Facebook, get stream photos and such without trouble.
I work in a health care organization in the field of telemedicine located in the midwest. As of late, iPads are being deployed to physicians for use in clinical settings for use with access to EMRs and additonal app resources for patient care. I am receiving an increased amount of inquires related to the use of FaceTime as method for telemedicine encounters. I am interested in learning what level of encryption is used for FaceTime. The level of ecryption is related to HIPAA compliance and would affect the use of FaceTime for clincal encounters. Could FaceTime be considered HIPAA compliant?
I just got ipad3 and I could not sign in to my FaceTime and iMessage I entered correct apple I'd and password and still could not connect to it. It says no network when my Internet has no problem at all.
What to do with my iMessage in Ipad 2? before i can send message tru iMessage from my contacts who is having the same applications, for the existing one, i can send message but if i want to send message from a new contact, its not working....
My new ipad cannot send using imessage. Facetime won't work either. It has the same email ad as my imessage in iphone but i already turned it off and it still won't work. It only happend to me just now, i've been using it with for a month with my iphone. Before it was working with my iphone. I do not know why it wont send imessage and facetime right now. But other internet related apps work like safari and appstore and social networking sites.
I have been having problems sending iMessage to my New iPad (3rd Gen) when it's been on standby more than 10 minutes. when trying to send iMessage to it it doesn't get delieverd, it will eventually deliever the message 30 minutes later but that's just dumb!
Also on FaceTime it's having the same problem, whenever it's been on standby longer than 10 minutes and I try to call FaceTime to my New iPad the call will never go through.
I have no trouble making FaceTime Calls or iMessage from my iPad it's only when I try to iMessage or FaceTime call to my iPad. Also, whats weird is after I initiate the Call or Message I can message back and call back without any problems.
I have just tried to use iMessage and was told to log in. I had to log in, which I found odd as I have always been connected. I used the correct email and password to log in, which I have always used, and after a couple of minutes delay I was told I was unable to connect and to check my network connections. I then tried FaceTime with the same result. Checking my Apple account, everything appears to be in order. Very strange.
On checking my Settings/Messages I find I had to put in my password and sign in. On doing so, again a wait of a minute or so only to be told that 'Coukd not sign in. Please check your network connection....
I recently got an iPad 2 and can't connect to iMessage or FaceTime with my apple login, I've also noticed that the YouTube app won't work either. It keeps coming up with errors to check network connection, is anyone else having similar problems and can anyone help? I've tried searching online apple forums and changing DNS setting but it hasn't worked.. Frustrating! I can use safari and other online apps just not these.
I can use my apple ID to connect to Istore but I cannot connect to iMessage or FaceTime. I get an error message asking to check my network connection but I can browse Internet and send receive email. Also unable to connect iphone4 toFaceTim.
two kids have just got their own iPod touches. Heres the problem. They both want their own facetime & apple IDs so they can message each other and mates etc. Will they need their own email addresses (they dont have 1 yet?) or is there an easier way?
Secondly will they have to have their own itunes account, with my card details on each account (for buying different apps etc)?
I've restored it from the backup of my original ipad, and registered it with my original apple id, which also has 2 iPhones (mine and wifes) and original ipad associated with it.
I'd like to give iMessage and FaceTime a new identity as "our house ipad" so that messages and FaceTime calls come to it independently. Really, I don't want my personal texts arriving on the new ipad2. I'd also prefer to have the original apple id on the new ipad2 to buy apps, so therefore not have to set up a new id.
I have been unable to activate and use FaceTime or iMessage since I purchased my ipad. I have created a apple ID and attempted to sign in however I'm told to check my network connections and try again. I am connected to my WI-FI with good signal strength and have no problems using the Internet, apps store or apps.
I have an Ipad2 and two sons with new IPod touches. We have a family account for apps and music and I have set up new apple ids for them for messaging and FaceTime. They are able to iMessage other family members (different accounts) and FaceTime each other but cannot message me or FaceTime me. I am the primary account holder.
