I know many real estate agents that would buy an iPad but need to keep their email private when handing a multimedia portfolio to a buyer. Any suggestions on mail apps what the apple one can't do?
While I like the idea of the iCloud, I have run into a BIG problem. This morning I installed 5 new apps on my iPad and my 7 year old came to me and showed me that all of my apps were on his iPad too. It turns out that when I put something on my iPad, it is automatically loading on my 7 year olds iPad and if it is an iPhone app, my 11 year old's iPhone. Everything my 11 year old puts on his phone now goes on all of our devices. My 7 year old said he had been reading stuff I was writing in my notes because it was showing up on his iPad. He said my pictures were going to his iPad too, but I haven't checked that.
I got my own iPad so I could keep my stuff private. My kids don't need their own iTunes accounts. How can I change it so they don't get the stuff I am doing sent to their devices? If there is not a way to change it, this is going to be a big problem.
I design catalogues for a client in the medical industry. one idea we have is to give out ipads to the top clients, with a preloaded catalogue. My first question is can i create a button that just launches a catalogue? does it have to be a pdf? Then my next question is there a way to remotely send over an updated catalogue? The client would want to be careful who received a catalogue. So we could not post on the store.
On my new iPad, when I turn on private browsing, it doesn't work. When I exit Safari and return to it, my tabs are still open. I've tried turning Private Browsing on nd off and restting y iPad but neither helped. Do you know why this could be happening? It was fine on my old iPad.
Private Browsing - Go To Settings And Clear Everything
Apr 7, 2010
Is there any sort of private browsing for Safari on iPad? I don't think Apple will let Firefox or any other browsers onto the App Store (the joy of a closed ecosystem), so I'm looking for any way that I can browse privately without having to go to Settings and clear everything afterward.
My brother has borrowed my iPad 2 for his office wok last week. When I got it back, I have found my iPad using private browsing feature while using Safari. What should I do to turn it off?
I frequent "Ashley Madison"'s on the "down low" website services.I want to keep my pesky wife away from my iPad 2's safari, but can't so can I make my safari private so she does not stumble on my Dl activities with other men???
I activated Private Browsing. I had to change the password on a few web pages, and then of course I put my iPad down.
During the day, I visited other websites, and then by chance I kept on pressing the BACK button looking for something. To my surprise all the pages I visited since the beginning of the day were still accessible, including the pages to change my passwords.
Is this normal? What is the point of Private Browsing, if Safari remembers all the pages I visit? Now, I am going to check whether "Quitting" Safari on my iPad actually removes all history.
If that is the case, then Apple should alert you when you activate Private Browsing in the Safari Preferences that nothing will be removed until you actually quit the app.

IPad 3 :: How To Disable Private Browsing On IOS 7.1.1
Jun 17, 2014
I am unable to disable Private browsing so I can have my iPad 3 once again save my passwords at my frequent websites, using Safari. I have pressed "+" on Safari, but there is no where on the screen showing anything related to "private browsing" as others have instructed.
So if I sync a new iPad with my mobilme account, will anybody who uses my iPad be able to see my mail?
iPads are designed to be left laying around the house for anybody to use and enjoy. But I don't want everybody and anybody to picks it up to have access to my bookmarks, my e-mail, my documents.
Does the iPad support Fast User Switching, Multiple Users and Guess Account like the main Mac OS does?
