I have an IPAD3-64GB. Lately my screen gets blurry, all display disappears and I get grey and white strips all over the screen. the only way to get things back to normal is to push the power button. is this a software or a hardware issue?
I just updated to 7.1.1 on my iPad2 and when I try to use my pictures for the home screen background it just looks like fuzzy colors. I tried changing my Accessibility options to “Reduce Motion- On” but it did not work. When I preview my picture it fits the background perfectly.
Also, is there a way to use a photo for the lock screen without it getting blown up and stretched out? I’ve had to edit my photos through trial and error so they fit and don’t look ridiculously stretched.
When I downloaded 7.1.1 I needed to return my iPad2 to factory settings and re-install all my apps.
When I open up a game or even some other things, , I see that it is small and in the middle of the screen. The size of my iPhone. Now why would anyone want it so tiny? So then I tap the x2 in the right corner of the screen and it then fills the entire screen, however, if there are words, the words look a bit blurry. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or have experienced the same thing?
I was using Youtube through Safari.I clicked a video and made it full screen and then the screen turned black. It didn't show me the usual appearance of a video in Youtube.Although the games and the apps still work.I tried closing it first then opening it again.
when i went back it still shows a black screen with the word Ipad and the time. Does anybody have ideas on how to put it back to its normal self?
This evening Screen suddenly went LARGE almost as if a 13" MB is trying to fit into the iPad. I cannot get it down to normal size. I pinched, I did a reset, then a restore, I checked the lock button on the side. I have looked into the settings as much as I can see them but do not see anywhere this is possible to adjust.
I just want to check if it's only me or not. I have an iPad mini with retina and sometimes when I'm in an app and I go to multitask and I close everything and I return to the home screen, my home screen is not normal it's "slipped" like this:
When I touch it, it goes back to normal. Am I the only one?
Earlier today I ran the Spirit program on my iPad and jail broke it, my intention was to run multitasking software on it, so initially I downloaded Backgrounder, then tried Multiflow but it didn't work for me for some reason. I then tried Kirakae (sp?!)
This after trying to run some programs in the background the iPad froze, so I turned it off and back on again. On powering up the icons on the home screen were smaller than normal, I could not rotate the home screen whatsoever, it seemed to think it was an iPod or something. I opened Cydia to try an uninstall Kirakae but could not press any of the button on the bottom eg the "Manage" button so could not install it.
Next I tried to restore the iPad back to OS 3.2 but each time it finished restoring it reverted back to the original situation ie the Ipad unlocked and unable to uninstall any programs.
I wanted to ask if it is normal that the iPad screen has backlight bleeding/leakage? Just bought mine today and I noticed that it has an uneven backlight. The most noticeable spot during normal usage is the one on the left hand side (although the two spots in the top right corner look worse when viewed in a dark room). I took a picture with my iPhone (see below).
My ipad 3 16 GB just broke down recently. No shock to mention. When i switch it on, i get a white screen. I've discovered by chance that by sliding the magnet part of my cover along the ipad, the screen appears as normal... except there is still a large white vertical strip. (horizontal when in landscape mode)
The ipad runs ok apart from that. Apple told me that my ipad is not under warranty anymore and proposed me to replace/fix it for a fee (apparently a hardware issue, graphic card).
I´ve got the new Ipad (3rd. generation). When I open the App (it is the standard camera application), it takes ages for it to load! It is just stuck with the normal "opening-screen"! But after about 20 seconds, it usually opens... But when I then try to take a picture, it totally freezes! The App doesn´t work anymore, and I will have to close it in the multitasking bar. Btw-> PhotoBooth does work just fine.
Info: iPad, iOS 5.1.1, I´m using the iPad (3rd generation)
I synced all my photos ( over a thousand) from iPhoto to iPad using iTunes. All the photos, every single one of them have turned blurry ( with very poor resolutions) on iPad .Information:iMacMac OS X (10.4)iPad
