My companies Exchange-server only allows me to have 100 MB of data on the server. I therefore have a large PST-file with archived emails on my PC which I would like to have access to on the Ipad.Is there a way to get the pst-file on the Ipad?
I recently bought my wife an iPad and she loves it. We have a problem with email however. She has just one email account with Sky, and downloads and sends her email via POP. The problem is that every single message that she has received or sent is archived in the Gmail 'All Mail' folder within the email application. She does not have a Gmail account and does not want all her messages archiving - particulary somewhere that she cannot access. There does not seem to be any means of removing these archived messages, or preventing new messages from going into this folder. Delete them and they come back. Drag them to the trash folder and they come back. I have gone through all the email settings and I cannot find any means of preventing this archiving. We cannot go into Gmail settings because she does not have a Gmail account! Any advice on how to resolve this issue would be gratefully received!
Has anyone updated their kindle app on a new ipad and successfully gotten to their full archived library? I'm on the phone with kindle support as only 1 book out of over 80 has shown up. She can't figure it out. I see them all on my old ipad1 and was successfully able to email 4 documents to the new ipad. But most of my library is awol. Has anyone had this work or is it a bug in their update?
After successfully using ipad for 4 months, I cannot access email and I receive an error message that says
"You cannot use email because your account is being used on another device"
I send and receive email on my cox email and on my google account. Previously, I sent and received through the ipad email software with no problem. No new devices have been added.I can continue to access my gmail account through my internet connection but not through the email account.
Hello. Does anyone know how to use a CAC card for accessing a military email account, specifically NMCI web email. I have card readers that work for my windows desktops and laptops but would like to be able to use my ipad to access the email account. I do not think these card readers will work for this. I think I need one that works via bluetooth and not usb.
I'm using Outlook Web Access with Safari on the ipad and seem to be having a problem pasting anything into the email composition window. I can copy text but whenever I hit the paste button nothing happens.
Does anyone else experience this? I have Atomic Browser as well but I cant get OWA to work on AB so that doesn't really help.
woke up this morning, opened my ipad2, selected my mail icon and the screen flashed, from what i can see, a blank email (or an email that hasn't fully loaded), then it flashes off. I am unable to open or view my mail.
I have wifi and AT&T 3G, neither of which will allow me to access the internet or get e-mail. I can use my app for reading with no problem. Have done a reset and shut it off a few times but nothing has worked.
I would like to know if there is a way to limit access to email and contacts or texting on the ipad so that if my four year old is using the ipad she can not access or accidentally send an email or text, call, etc.?
Issue: Company are going to deploy 100 iPad 2 to field based staff. We are going to use an MDM solution to deploy configuration profiles to lock down the devices for a corporate environment over the air.
One issue we can not resolve at the moment is blocking staff adding a new personal e-mail account (gmail, hotmail etc...) by the way of an over the air provisioning profile.
If we deploy the MDM solution to the device & set-up Exchange e-mail access after this is complete we can turn off adding a new e-mail account via the restrictions option but this has to be completed manually!
Does anyone know a way of doing the above over the air so we do not have to visit each device? Downloaded the latest version of iPhone Config Utility (220.127.116.119) but this option is not available under mail or restrictions to my knowledge.
Is it possible to require an email password to be entered each time a mail account is accessed? I am waiting for my ipad to arrive and was hoping we could all share it in our family and have our email accounts setup on there, but to require us to enter a password when accessing each account so that we can have some privacy (i.e. - kids not being to read our email) when using our accounts and also in case it is lost or stolen and someone else accesses it.
I've just got my 1st iPad, its an iPad 2.This will be used by myself mainly, but also by my kids and if I can encourage her, the wife.So I dont really want access for them on my email, is there anyway to limit access? or should I just not use email on my iPad and use my iPhone 4 instead?
Anyone know how to access two separate email accounts? I have set up a hotmail account and another private email provider on my new iPad 3. However, only the hotmail account shows up when I hit the email icon.
