Does anyone happen same as me ?

My battery life has gotten shorter and shorter over time. I've pretty much foliowed all of the basics, as explained in that post here re: battery management, draining fully once a montn then fully charging, turning Bluetooth, WiFi and location services off, brightness down, etc. I'd guess I'm getting 5 hours full operating time; it also seems to take less time to charge. This device always seemed to be a little shy of the advertised 10 hours, but it didn't matter that it might be only 8 or 9. But now it has to be addressed.
Any other ideas? Have seen a mix of posts about this subject. May need to replace the battery or...the entire device?

As opposed to it being saved in mail...which disappears when I log in from my computer. Can I save an email attachment to my iPad?
View 4 Repliesis it better for battery life to watch movies via iTunes on the iPad (the "Videos" app) versus using an app like CineXPlayer or VLC?i'm going on a long flight soon and i think the plane uses empower, so i may not have a way to charge my iPad. i've got a bunch of xvids that i'm currently just dumping into CineXPlayer, but should i go through the trouble to convert them to H.264 to save on battery?
View 7 RepliesI'm on the 3G model and I've noticed that the battery drains three percent down to 97%, WHILE ITS CHARGING! Anyone have a similar experience or an idea why the device is consuming more power than the charger is supplying?
View 2 RepliesMust be my imagination but my battery seems to be dying quicker than usual. I have been Atomic Browser a lot lately and I heard that may be an issue. I has my iPad plugged into the charger all night. Woke up and unplugged had 100%. Now after about aprox 10 minutes of use it has dropped down to 97%. When i first got it it would take at least an hour before it would drop down to 99%. I'm probably worrying about nothing. If I'm being stupid just say so.
View 6 RepliesI used my ipad last this morning and it was popping up the below 20% message. It may have been left on and now I can't get it to power up. I have had it charging for an hour or so and sign of life.

I've turned off Location services and Bluetooth. Does using 'Push' on applications use much battery power?
Note: Do the individual Apps with Location services only cosume battery power when the Application is being used?
I tried charging my ipad today while power off but did not see any indication of charge like the itouch showing the battery icon while off. Is this normal?
View 9 RepliesI don't have one yet but if you have to send it back to have the battery replaced at some point can you "save" all the apps you bought and put them back in the I-Pad you get back? They say once you have the battery replaced all your stuff is gone when you get it back?
View 6 RepliesMy question is - does it drain my battery if my iPad is fully charged(100%) and with the power line plugged in?
Will it use the power from the line or it will still use the battery?

Some tip to share here, if you encounter your iPad / iPhone 4 battery power dropped faster than usual after upgrade to 4.2.1, than you need to restore your 4.2.1 again, I encounter the issue when I upgrade my iPhone 4 to 4.2.1, the battery power dropped much more faster than usual (24hrs dropped 40%) I brought to carrier, they back up my data and restore again and the issue solved.
View 1 Replies"Charge the battery: The best way to charge the iPad battery is to connect iPad to a power outlet using the included Dock Connector to USB Cable and 10W USB power adapter. When you connect iPad to a USB 2.0 port on a Mac with the Dock Connector to USB Cable, iPad may charge slowly while syncing.
Important: The iPad battery may drain instead of charge if iPad is connected to a PC, to a computer that's turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, to a USB hub, or to the USB port on a keyboard.3g 8GB
I would like to know if using the ipad with the power cable plugged in will isolate the battery and thus help extend the life of the battery.

View 9 RepliesI wanted to make sure I didn't mess something up during the back up process. I just backed up my ipad2 using iCloud, but forgot to use the power, so it backed up on battery power. The back up seems to have been successful, but did I damage anything not having it connected to the AC power source?
View 4 RepliesI noticed lately the power consumption on my ipad 3 has gone considerably up. A full charge lasts me about 8 hrs and to chrge it upm(through the mains), it takes 4hrs +. I downloaded many apps lately and suspect one of them may be power hungry. Is there a good App that allows me to establish which app(s) eat up the power on my Ipad 3 & equally allow me to terminate unnecessary processes?

I know backgrounder will kill the battery, but even when I'm not running backgrounder I feel Like the battery is running down faster. Am I just being paranoid or is anyone else having the same experience.
