How Do I Clean It Out Of All Personal Information?
Aug 6, 2010
And once done, how can I be sure it's all gone? I've been searching online and there are videos put out by computer companies making it pretty clear you can't really clean out everything.
I recently bought a used iPad and when I try to go into my iTunes account, the previous owners email comes up and it asks for his password. How do I delete his info and put mine in?
Does anyone know if our personal information is being provided to app developers each time we download an app? I've been downloading several apps for the ipad and just started wondering if this is the case. I'd be unhappy if every app I downloaded that my personal info would be given to the developers too. My curiosity is getting to me. I'm trying to read into the License Agreements but the fine print is killing my eyes and there's so much fine print to read.
Hey, I've got an ipad that Im selling so that I can pick up a new 3G version. Is there anyway that I can clean the HD on the one I'm selling (sorry if thats a stupid ?, Im not very tech inclined). I still need it to be functional for whomever buys it, just want to make sure none of my personal info is left on it anywhere.
So I bought the iPad, brought it to a family and of course everyone wanted to play with it. Even the little ones wanted to play on it and draw. Now that I've brought it home, it's filled with fingerprints. So what is the best way to clean the fingerprints off of it? I was thinking of using the microfiber cloth that came with my iMac, but it sits on top of my desk collecting dust. Do I need to wash it first? Or am I better off using the cloth that I use to clean my glasses?
I downloaded the Science Fiction Movies app and started watching one of the films. About a third of the way through the app froze. I have deleted the app but the free space has dropped. I think the app has downloaded the film to the drive but am unable to remove it. Am I right and is there any way to clean up the iPad's drive?
ok silly question but how can I clean apple's case??I love it but I've only had it for 3 days and it looks like I've dragged it through the mudd!!I've been using the ipad within the case non-stop but nothing harsh!
I love my 32GB iPad, but decided I'd rather have the 3G model, so I'm selling it to a friend. Is there an easy way to restore it to its original, clean, state? When I bought it at the Apple store, the sales guy plugged it into his mac and "registered" it. Will the new owner need to re-register it? And how does the warrantee transfer over?
I'm certain there are many of us that find the round smears of oils/finger spots annoying when we turn off the iPad...what works best for you, to remove them easily?
i have some issues with my ipad and an appointment at the store on friday. now they say the guarantee expires if the pad is jailbroken. as i dont wnat to update to the unbreakable versions i would need a clean version of 3.2.1 which i can put on the pad and if they dont exchange it can put my 3.2.1 back or simply jailbreak again.
When Baby (my iPad) needs her face cleaned, I use a microfiber cloth. I've found that the MysticMaid personal cleaning cloth is the best.
I never use any type of cleaner on Baby's face. I use a microfiber cloth either dry or with a little water. Cleaners might damage Baby's delicate oleophobic coating.
