IPad 2 :: Cannot Get It To Shut Down - ITunes Logo And Port On Screen
Dec 5, 2014
i went to upadate my settings, and it told me i didnt have enough space to download IOS 7, then it locked and a iTunes screen appeared on screen with a picture of port plug, now i cant get it to shut down ive tried the home button and the shut down button, nothing works. when the screen goes black, for a minute the Apple logo comes up then goes off and the iTunes and port plug come back.
Apple market the iPad2 as not requiring you to have a computer anymore (over the air updates etc.) however as I see it, you still need a computer to put anything onto it (music, video etc.). Is there any way to point the iPad2 (or even AppleTV2) directly to an iTunes library stored for example on a NAS somewhere? Would be great if you could do this so you wouldn't need a Mac/PC at all!
I have a simple question for you today. I own two TC, a late 2009 MC343LL/A model (1 TB) and an early 2009 double-band model (500 GB).The question is: is the integrated USB port an high-power 2.0 port?I tried to charge two iPhone simultaneously through the same Time Capsule 2.0 USB port (using a simple USB switch) and it works. I can charge two iPhones simultaneously. So, if I can charge two iPhone at the same time, could I properly charge an iPad?(I haven't got the iPad yet xD)
Does any one have the time and patience to step-by-step me through the process of creating a folder or folders via I-Tunes and port PDF files over from the hard drive to the I-pad device?
I successfully dragged some PDF files from my hard drive to the books icon in I-tunes and they showed up on the device in iBooks. However, I will be dealing with scores of files/letters that are presently in folders on the hard drive. Each file (letter/lesson) has its own name. Perhaps 20-30 files are then in a folder categorized by date/year ... eg., 2010 ... 2009. In IBooks, the icons are so small I cannot see the name of individual files.
These files really need to be in folders on the device. I was unsuccessful in Itunes in trying to drag the entire folder to the device.
I have installed IBooks, IAnnotate (PDF) and GoodReader on the Ipad. If something else is needed, I would gladly go to the store and get it.
I am really dead in the water at this point at any attempt to use the I-pad in my class room until I can get my lessons in some semblance of order.
How Can We Stop The Finger Pointing? - Applications

Here is a WiFi problem I sent the Print Magic HD developer with the hopes of getting Print Magic HD working on my iPad. Check out their response blaming Apple WiFi. My Wifi works well with all other Apps! Whose to blame?Print Magic HD version 1.0Brother HL-2170W; Rom Version 1.09; Net Rom version 1.06; Ram 32Mb iPad Version 3.2; 14 Gb; Model MB292LL; WiFi address 7C:6D:62:D9:16:E0Symptom: Print Magic HD seems to turn off WiFi after "Print" is pressed.I purchased the App after using your free Print Magic test App. With the test App, I was able to able to print from my iPad to my Brother HL-2170W WiFi laser printer. It did however, take a number of retries, but I was successful.I then purchased and installed Print Magic HD App and I'm not having any success.
Pointing The Right Direction By Throughing An Advice
May 10, 2010
i have acquired today a 3 mifi without a sim, i want to unlock it using a mac ( for free) can anyone point me in the right direction and shed any advice on the best deals out there on a data plan of some sort for it PAYG preferable
i have been asking about/discussing this elsewhere, but thought i might put it directly onto the syncing forum...hopefully no offence caused to those who helped me elsewhere...i have a usb 1.1 port on my imac...the ipad needs a usb 2 port for syncing....why is this? is it because of the transfer speed? or is it something else? i might try the 1.1 port to see if it works,
does the ipad have a usb port to use an iphon eon it isnt it suppose to b like a labtop shoiuldnt it have itunes and usb so i can plug my iphone to add music and also can u download normal things like ares and things like that
my iPad is not charging through the wall charger it says 10% and it shows no indication that its charging (or not) when it's plugged in, it just stays the same. I think it's charging though, because when the battery depleted and it shows the battery and the lightning bolt sign (telling you to charge it,) it recognizes when I plug it in and just shows the lightening bolt (meaning its being powered.) Any thoughts? Should I just take it in to the Apple store for a new one?
I know most USB 2 ports don't have the necessary current to charge it, but USB 3.0 is rated at 900 mA. Even though its not capable of syncing at the higher speed, will it be compatible with charging at a higher current?
Wondering if anyone has tried to hook up a usb > 9pin serial adapter to the camera kit on the ipad.Or even bluetooth rs232 adapters. My ultimate goal is to console into a cisco device via ipad so i can travel even lighter than i already do.
Every new TV has a USB port. Even recent fridges that have displays / screens built in has a USB port in it. USB 2.0 was released in 2000, 10 years later, this "revolutionary device" doesn't even have it built in, it has an adapter for 1port. What an absolute joke.
If a PC USB port will charge the iPhone 3GS, will it also charge the iPad?The reason I ask is that my iPad will not charge from ANY PC USB 2.0 port on any of my 9 PC's and laptops. But the same ports will charge all my other Apple devices using the same cable.
