So I am using a jail broken iPad and the categories app to reduce the amount of pages of apps. I have 3 folders, one for cydia and the like, one for games, and one for all other apps. What's odd is that the Cydia folder has it's app icon, but the other two folders only have solid white icons. I have tried respringing, deleting and making new folders but it's the same thing over again. Anyone know what's up?

Go into Cydia and re-install catergories app again. When you reboot the app icons should pop up.. This worked for me at least..

Yeah that will work and if you make a new folder you will most likely need to repeat that

I reinstalled sbsettings and that seemed todo the trick.
