Fast Streaming to iPad?

I recently bought a iPad a few months ago and after using it for a while I had an idea. I have my Gaming PC hooked up to my home WiFi network and own a Xbox 360 Wireless Controller. By using my Xbox controller with my PC I am able to play most of my games using the controller as long as I am in range with it. I want to be able to stream my computer monitor over to my iPad so I can play my games with my Xbox 360 controller anywhere in the house. My problem is that most iPad apps and most PC screen sharing software is way too slow and laggy to display live video and gaming over to the screen fast enough. Does anyone here know of some sort of iPad app that would allow fast streaming of a PC display to the iPad, or is it almost impossible to get smooth quality video through WiFi?
