How do I reset passcode when I have forgotten it

Does anyone know how to reset the passcode when you are no longer abe to access the IPAD. I have forgotten it and when I go to sync it with Itunes it wont allow me to do this unless I have the passcode which I have totally forgotten.

Thank you for all your comments, but Itunes still won't allow me to sync it as it was not originally synced to my PC, but on my brother in law's so the items could be loaded before it was given to me for my birthday.

I have attempted to sync it, but ITunes says it "cannot sync the Ipad as it has locked with a passcode, you must enter your passcode on the ipad before it can be used with Itunes". The IPad now says "Ipad is disables, connect to intunes"..

Does this not have a reset button on the Ipad such as the Ipod's have?

I haven't been able to use it since Jun and it is very frustrating!!

HELP PLEASE...as none of the above responses to my questions have worked.

Using Apple's search page mentioned in my previous reply:

http://support.apple.com/kb/index?page=search

...I found these articles:

_iPad: Turning on/off and resetting_

_How to set up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch as a new device_

And here's Apple's support page about syncing:

http://www.apple.com/support/ipad/syncing

Also, every iPad comes with complimentary telephone technical support for 90 days:

HI David

I am 4000klm away from the computer it was orginally loaded on. My PC has never had the IPAD synced to it, which is where the problem is I believe.

The Ipad is disabled now. When I attempt to sync it to Itunes on my PC it tells me to unlock it with the passcode, which I cannot remember.
Then I go and power off the Ipad and it still tells me it is disabled so even If I did have the passcode for it, there is no way for me to even attempt to unblock it.
I'm about to throw the **** Ipad against the wall!!
