Hello,

I have recently reactivated my iPad 1, but after booting it I saw that it's screen only shows about one third from the right, the rest shows the content in horizontal distorted lines.

Has anyone had this problem and knows which component is faulty here? Do I need a new LCD or is it the main board driving it?

I already restored it with the latest iOS and charged it fully. The touch still works, even on the distorted part. When I turn off the screen and turn it on again, the distorted part is black at first (see first attachment) and then slowly shows the horizontal lines getting brighter (see second attachment).
