I just noticed that one of my recently iTunes purchased cds is not displaying the tracks in the correct order in the iPod app on the iPad. I check iTunes and the tracks are correctly numbered.

Any ideas on what this might be?

Strange - did you purchase direct on iPad or thru your main computer??

Ok - apparently it syncs music videos to both the videos app and the iPod app. Any way to disable this on the iPod app?

To match your iTunes playlist order to your iPad do the following:

1) Select and open the playlist on iTunes you what to manage.
2) Place the songs in the order you want (for example, alphabetically).
3) Press and hold the "Control" key on your keyboard.
4) Click on that playlist on the left hand side.
5) Select "Copy to Play Order".

That's it! Whenever you add or rearrange the song's order to a playlist on iTunes it's good idea to follow the procedure above. For an iPod I don't think it matters but for devices like Apple TV and the iPad it's necessary if you want the same order as in iTunes. If you don't do this you'll notice that all new songs will be listed on the bottom of your playlists. I hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for this, I was having same problem and tried your solution. Somehow it doesn't seem to work for me. My regular playlist on my G5 are all lastest song at the top, while on the iPad I they are in random order. Any other ideas on how to solve this? Thanks.
