IPad screen scrolling distortion

Hey all

This one is a little strange, I have had my iPad for two weeks, love it, does loads of cool stuff but in the last two days I have noticed something a little odd.

When scrolling in portrait mode the image seems to distort, especially noticeable with text when reading the paper. It's like pulling a piece of cloth, one side moves slightly faster than the other. This does not happen in landscape mode. It's happening on all applications not just the browser. Anyone else getting this? When I first got it no problem, wondering if it's the touch sensors playing up?

I have done a full wipe and restore, same issue. Booked into apple store on Sunday but I wondered if this is a common problem? Also if someone has had this did they change your iPad or is there a fix?

Went to apple store and compared mine to about three of them in the store, and they all distort slightly. Asked the genius guy and it's cause if u hold your finger on it longer the screen wants to accelerate on the scroll and the detection of the finger doesn't let u. Apparently. If it gets worse I'll kick off, I suspect its graphics driver related so I bet it gets fixed with the os4 update

I also have this issue, and I don't have any accessibility settings enabled, nor do I hold my finger on the screen to do it. It's really noticeable if you do keep your finger on and slide it up and down, but it happens if I just swipe up and down too.

It's like the right side of the screen refreshes faster than the left, so the effect when scrolling is that the right side tilts up or down. Each column going left is ever so slightly slower, so nothing looks broken, it just looks like the screen tilts right.

And once you see it, you can't unsee it. The device is awesome otherwise though.

It could very well be your eyes. Try making a video of it happening and see if you can notice it happening there, it would also be able to tell us if you are "seeing" things as it were or if this is a real issue. Speaking personally, I do have a problem with my eyes and viewing heights. I might be standing on a platform that is 4-5ft off the ground it looks more like 8-10ft off the ground to me. it is really only heights that does this for me and not distance, but to make the point that it could very well be how your eyes behave that you seem to see the page as moving in a particular direction based on the flow of the words or content of the page.
