Miss category on iTunes Store menu bar

My iTunes Store menu bar only shows App Store and iTunes U, and the home icon. The music, movies and other categories are missing. How do I get them to appear? When I search for music, the it only show results relating to apps, not the actual albums. This happened after I updated to the new version of iTunes in order to synch with my new iPhone. It's so frusstrating. Please help!

Thanks very much for your answer. That really ***** though. Eventhough I couldn't buy, I did like the previous version where I could search and see albums in the iTunes Store. Often after seeing what I like I would ask a friend with a working account to buy it for me. I think to disable the categories all together is bad for business. Do you know when will Thailand be able to access and buy music and movies? I don't understand why I can buy apps but not music. It's the same credit card info.
