Safari cannot open zip files that I transferred via youse dig also how do I get them to open in iTunes

Hello I just got the new iPad. I had some files on my laptop mp3s and mpeg4 which I could listen and watch on iTunes without issue. Decided to transfer them via yousendit cos laptop needs a new charger. When I tried to download safari couldn't open the zips and then would only open other files in QuickTime.

Any solutions please?

If you install a Zip archive reader like GoodReader for iPad, you will be able to download the zip file via Safari to your iPad and save it to GoodReader. You will then be able to unpack the mp3 and mp4 files from GoodReader, but you won't be able to import them into the Music app or the Videos app.

You need to use iTunes on a Mac or PC to import the mp3 and mp4 files, then sync your iPad via iTunes to get the media on the iPad.
