My iPad is locked and the access codes I try don't work. I cannot restore from iCloud because it gives an error that I need to go to the settings on my iPad and turn off FindMyiPad. I can't since my passcode doesn't work! HELP!! Anyone have suggestions?

Can you log in to iCloud.com from a computer? If you can, I believe you can turn Find My iPad off from there.

We have removed the account from Find My iPad from our computer already, but it is still saying that we can't recover or restore until it is turned off in the iPad settings.

Restore in DFU mode. Don't know what it is? Google it.

We are trying the DFU mode restore shortly... let you know how it goes!

Hmmmm. It says you were supposed to erase the device first before removing it.

I don't think DFU restore is going to work, as iOS 7 activation lock was designed specifically to prevent stolen devices from being reactivated under any circumstances.

After restore it will definitely ask for his Apple ID again but I think it just might solve his access code problem.
