How do I enable cookies on my iPad?
View 1 RepliesIn the settings area I have already changed it to always accept cookies. Yet when I go to amazon site and try to login it says I need to enable cookies. I've cleaned out cache, cookies and history. No results. Is this an amazon issue?

I bought a Solidtek ASK-3152 Blue-tooth Keyboard specifically for my Ipad as it fits in the pocket of the iPad sleeve I have (The Apple bluetooth Keyboard is too big) The peoblem is when I try to connect it sees the keyboard but it does not give me enough time to type in the password it asks for to pair the device. Does the iPad only pair with Apple keyboards?

I played with an iPad yesterday at our local Apple Store, and my first impressions are very positive. I plan to buy one when the 3G models come out in a few weeks. The only major disappointment for me is that the iPad OS does not support printing to local networked or shared printers. Does anyone know of a good 3rd party solution for this?

I have a G4 PowerPC that I am trying to connect my iPad. The computer recognizes the iPad in the "About this Mac" report, but won't show up in iTunes. All software is up to date (OS 10.5.8 and iTunesw 9.1).
Since the G4 Macs shipped with USB 1.1 ports, I added USB 2.0 ports a few years back--they are third party ports.
When I connect the iPad to the USB 1.1 ports, it will charge, but not show up in iTunes.
When I connect the iPad to the third party USB 2.0 ports it will not even charge, but, again, the computer sees it in the "About this Mac" report.
Can someone help me figure out how to get the iPad recognized by iTunes?
I'm thinking it doesn't like the Third Party USB 2.0 port, but I can't connect with the Apple USB 1.1 ports that came with the computer. But why does the computer see the iPad, but not iTunes?

G4 PowerPC 1.25 Ghz
Mac OS X (10.5.8)

I have iPad 3 and i only download through iTunes but i have seen that most of the mobile OS provides this facility to download and use software from external sources so is it possible to do the same in iPad? Please reply as it creates excitement?
View 16 Repliesthis morning my Ipad 2 (3G 64G) will not open third party apps down loaded from App Store. They seem to open for a second and then close. All native apps like mail/safari etc all open fine. I have not yet upgraded to the new OS as I use this ipad to obtain my works email and they have some concerns about the security with the new software so I am using the next to latest OS. Any thoughts? I reset with sleep/home button but that didn't do a thing.
View 1 RepliesWhen someone calls me on FaceTime I can see but not hear them - any ideas? microphone NOT on mute.
View 1 RepliesI've even restored the ipad several times both as new and from a backup. Also, when I try to sync the apps through itunes it gets halfway through one and cancels the sync. Because of this there are heaps of apps that just say "loading" but never do anything.

I thought I was having an iPad charging problem when I was charging my new iPad overnight with the 10W charger and a 6' long third party cord I got off...I can't remember. Maybe Ebay? Anyways, overnight it would max out at 90ish% and display "not charging" everytime I went to charge. I finally realized it was the 6' cord was plugged up so I swapped it with an OEM cord and wallah, it charged to 100%. Any idea what would cause this longer cord to prevent full charging. It charges my iPhone 4S and worked on my iPad 2.

That dictation works with third-party apps so you can update your status from facebook or twitter for example. do the third-party apps need to be updated to use this functionality or will they work automatically? i am really interested in trying out this feature next week.
