Download Some Apps In App Store - Requirements Doesn't Support
Jun 15, 2012
How I can upgrade my iPad (iOS 3.2.2) to iOS 4.0.0 or later ? I have my iPad (the first version) from 2 years ago. Now I have a trouble to download some apps in App Store just because of the requirements doesn't support for my iPad. Nowadays most of apps are need iOS 4.0.0 or iOS 5.0.0. How to upgrade my iPad (iOS 3.2.2) to iOS 4.0.0 or later?
I surfed the net on my computer and found a free app. It was by OatMeal Software and in iTunes. When i go to the App Store on my iPad i find another version. Is it possible to use apps from other places other than the apps store? If so, how do i do this?
The app store kicks me out when I download an app..... I could be on page 300 select an app and it does download but app store defaults all the way back to page one-----ugh,,,,,, what can I do!?!?!!?!?!?
I am travelling to San Diego from UK in a few weeks time for a few months and intend to buy an iPad while im over there from one of the apple stores. Is it right to assume I can buy one in store and also download my apps and settings while im in store (from icloud?).
Reason for this is im travelling around and wont be entering any wifi zones for a few weeks after purchasing and would want some apps like iphoto and imovie to be loaded on.
When i bought my 4S and got back to work on the wifi this seemed to work pretty effectively so just hoping this would be possible from apple store? Also would having a UK apple account have any restrictions on this operation as I am in the US trying the same thing?
I'm using an iPad 2 32gb Wifi. My problem is that downloading apps from the app store never download anymore. It used to work up until yesterday. Now, any apps I try to download or update are stuck at waiting.I feel like I've tried every solution on the internet except for factory reset because I do not want to lose any of my apps data and things. Ive tried syncing it to my computer, which makes the apps waiting disappear off the iPad. I've also tried rebooting it several times. As well as, signing out of the app store, resetting my network settings, downloading from a different router connection, resetting all warnings for buying and downloading on my iTunes account, and updating my iTunes. Ive deleted the apps that were in waiting and tried downloading them again, and ve had no luck. Ive also tried downloading one at a time, again, no luck. Its been really frustrating. The only way I can now get apps on my iPad is if I plug it into my computer, download the apps on iTunes and sync them on it. That is very inconvenient. There are no pending or waiting downloads on my iTunes, and my iPad software is up to date (iOS 5.1). My internet connection is great and all the other apps I have still work perfectly.

But will open all of the preinstalled apps.I must go to the app store and install something and then all the apps will open. I should not have to install unwanted apps to keep my IPad working. IPad Mini :: With IOS 7.0.3 Won't Download Any New Apps From App Store
Aug 27, 2014
This only started a couple of days ago but now every time I try to download an app from the app store on my ipad, it won't let me. It asks for my Apple ID password and says it's downloading on the App Store but when I go to where it should be downloading, it's not there. On hue App Store it even says "Open" next to the app I wanted to download but when I hit it nothing happens.
IPad :: Cannot Download Apps From Store - Progress Bar Will Not Advance
Apr 10, 2014
Today I was downloading some previously purchased apps, and after downloading some for no apparent reason it stopped working. The last few apps would show the progress bar but would not advance.
So I tried through iTunes on my Mac, no luck. I tried viewing my iTunes account and that wouldn't work either, on both devices.
I tried signing out then back in, still couldn't download on my Mac, and couldn't even sign back in on my iPad. Still, I could not log in at the Apple support forums. The sign in page would not load at all. So I am left to inquire here.
Is this just likely an Apple server issue that I will have to wait out? Seems like that might be the case. All other websites, etc. work fine. I am at a loss. Maybe this question should have been asked in the "iCloud and Apple Services" section?
IPad 3 App Store Not Accessing Apple ID While Trying To Download Free Apps
Jul 19, 2012
When I try to download free apps through App Store in my iPad 3, it prompts me to enter my Apple ID. But when I sign in using my Apple ID, it shows the message ‘Apple ID is not yet used in iTunes store. How can I access the App Store now?
This device is a remarkable piece of gear. I'm sure everyone wanted more of something, but you cannot deny that the computer and capabilities are amazing and stunning.
For me the big disappointment was lack of MS Exchange support.
"And iPad will work with all the popular email providers, including MobileMe, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Hotmail, and AOL."
Exchange for better or worse (mostly worse) is a corporate standard, and it's what I need to be able to lounge on the couch and catch-up on email during the off-hours. I do this with my iPhone today, but the bigger tablet touch screen would have made the task more natural and productive.
So while I had my credit card ready to buy almost anything Apple released today, this is the missing feature that stopped me in my tracks. Unexpected this is.
Short of that, I applaud Apple for this achievement. Nobody does it better. And I'm sure time will address my issue (just like it played-out on the iPhone), and I'll eventually be a proud iPad owner.
eventually, the iPad will have system support for all the other languages like the iPhone does?I would like to buy one to offer to a family person but then I noticed that (contrary to the iPhone) the iPad doesn't support Portuguese, my native language.Since the iPhone translation to Portuguese is pretty good (as is the Snow Leopard one), I wonder why can't the iPad have them also.If anyone knows something more about this, I really appreciate some more info in order to decide what to do (waiting for the next version of the OS or buying a netbook to install Ubuntu Netbook Remix).
