Connect To Wifi Router But It Won't Allow To Access The Internet ?

My ipad is running into wifi issues. It will connect to my wifi router but it won't allow me to access the internet, and theres nothing wrong with the router because the ipad worked before and my computer and other wifi enable devices connect to it and have internet access. Another issue which I encountered today was the ipad had connected to a Free Public WiFi when there are no wireless networks around. I know this because I work in an enclosed space that can't send or receive wireless signals.

I have an ipad2 and love using it but what I don't get is that it only connect to the wifi at my house. I can use the internet and everything when at my house. but if I go to work or anyone elses house it'll show that it is connected to wifi but will not get on the internet.

i just got my new iPad 3 4G yesterday and am having problems connecting to my wireless lan at home. It connects to the router, but does not connect to the internet. The strange thing is that I can get onto the website that configures my router for me to complete the configuration. Therefore I AM in the internet, to be able to do that, right? When I try to open any other website though, I get the message, that I am not connected. The unit worked perfectly at the store yesterday.

I recently got my Ipad and connected it to my Home Wifi without a problem. Yesterday we had a hail storm in Mcallen Tx, and the lights when out in my house. Of course the router went off too. A few minutes later the lights came back on. And so my wireless internet, and all my devices reconnected back to the network (my Pc, laptop, wii and vonage phone). All but my ipad. My Ipad connected back to the network but is not recieving internet. All my devices (but vonage) are wireless.
My ipad is also under Cisco's VPN, which also fails to connect (which tells me i have internet). When i go to safari it says it fails to open the webpage.
I "cleared history" and "cleared cookies and data" from Safari, it wont work.
I also made a hard reset on my router, and changed passwords on all my devices. Again all devices connected to the network. But the Ipad wont connect to the internet.

I'm having trouble connecting to my wireless network at home (wpa2 personal with AES encryption). I've tested it a million times and have yet to connect with a secure setting. However,
I can connect to the router without problems when the network is unsecure, as well as other public wifi networks. Any advice? I have no idea what to do now.

I am facing a problem with the wifi. I initially connected the iPad in my office on the upper flower where Internet is through wifi router and the Internet worked perfect. But on my lower floor I have an access point installed to get better signal strength.
My android phones wifi , my laptops wifi etc work nicely through this access point and get nice signal strength but when I took my iPad on the lower floor it is not workingthrough the access point . The Internet just stops. When I saw in the dhcp settings of iPad wifi I can see it's not able to get right ip address and also not able to retrieve the router address.
When I turn off the access points the Internet works again withthe direct signal from the main upper floor router even if the signal strength is low. What shula I do to use the wifi through the access point? I never faced this problem with my android phone or a windows laptop. They configure on their own and I can use Internet both through router directly and access point also.

I've had my iPad for a couple of weeks now, and I've nothing but problems maintaining a connection to my wireless router (D-Link WBR-2310) - the router works perfectly with other Wi-Fi devices (non-Apple), but with the iPad 6 inches from the router, the connection fails. It's gotten progressively worse until now it won't connect at all. I've tried a system reset, tried all of the suggestions posted here and elsewhere on the Web - it simply doesn't work. The iPad is defective, plain and simple. This HAS to be resolved. Running iOS 3.2.2 (7B500)

Have noticed that my ipad 2 ( as well as two iPod touches 4th gen) won't connect to my wifi from my router, 2 wii's and pc lap top do, we can still connect as I have airport Internet sharing turned on via my desktop but that network is not supposed to be as strong or fast . The ipad did hook up to the router 2 days ago but then yesterday it went back to the other, there is no renew lease option or forget this network option, or any info in the fields when I hit the blue arrow for the router net work, the router is only a few months old and my printer is on that network as well

I have a new ipad. When I try to connect it to my Linksys WRT120N router it asks for the password. When I enter 'admin' it says ˜incorrect password for linksys. I have reset the linksys and it therefore should recognise the password. To access the router backroom I enter 192.168.1.1 in my computer url, enter the same password, it just repeats the request and I get nowhere. Other wifi connections work fine.

Just bought an iPad last monday. I'm having serious issues regularly connecting to my home wireless network. Every time it goes to sleep for an hourish i can't reconnect for a good 5 minutes. I've tried the followingThe only thing that works is to reset all network settings and i wait 5 minutes or so and it finally starts working after timing out over and over. Its just a real hassle every time i want to connect to the web.

I sold my wifi iPad via Amazon. Right before shipping it, I reformatted it. First, I reset to factory settings, then I connected to iTunes and Restored. Before I reset the ipad, it worked perfect, connecting to dozens of networks with out any challenge. After the restore had completed, it came up and appeared to be working fine. However, I did not attempt to connect to my home network after I restored.It arrived today to the buyer in New York, but it will not connect to their home router. They have TimeWarner Internet...and a Netgear router. They have turned off security, restarted the iPad and the router, but are still getting the message that the iPad is unable to connect to the network.

Just wondering if anybody has had iPad issues with the Sky router in particular?
My iPad works fine at the office (we use an Apple Airport Extreme), so that would seem to eliminate a hardware fault with the iPad.
But at home (Sky Netgear router) I cannot connect to the internet at all (although my Macbook and iPhone have no problems whatsoever).
Just wondered if anyone has had similar problems with the Sky Netgear router?
