View 5 RepliesI recently bought a iPad a few months ago and after using it for a while I had an idea. I have my Gaming PC hooked up to my home WiFi network and own a Xbox 360 Wireless Controller. By using my Xbox controller with my PC I am able to play most of my games using the controller as long as I am in range with it. I want to be able to stream my computer monitor over to my iPad so I can play my games with my Xbox 360 controller anywhere in the house. My problem is that most iPad apps and most PC screen sharing software is way too slow and laggy to display live video and gaming over to the screen fast enough. Does anyone here know of some sort of iPad app that would allow fast streaming of a PC display to the iPad, or is it almost impossible to get smooth quality video through WiFi?
View 2 RepliesI want to use my iPad 2 as a monitor for my Xbox 360 and I have the VGA converter for both systems. How do I use my iPad 2 as a monitor like this? I want to do this because my xBox is connected to our family t.v. and if my lil' bro or sis want to watch t.v. then I can't play.

I want to connect PS3 controller with iPad 3 Bluetooth for playing games via Air Play. How can I do that?
View 5 RepliesFor example, on my PC, I am using an Xbox 360 controller to play games via my USB port.
I understand that the ipad 2 doesn't have a USB port, so is there any other way of connecting a game controller to it?
I have my whole music collection on a portable hard drive. I normally plug this in to my xbox 360 to play all my music through my amp and speakers. Now I have my iPad, I want to use it to as a remote control to play my music collection. I'm wondering if this can be done via the iPad xbox working together but not sure if I might have to buy air port express or something?

View 6 RepliesA family member of ours used to enjoy playing Harry Potter type games and things like solitaire on an old computer using win xp. After an illness they have been diagnosed with a form of Dementia, which in her case means that unless something is repeated, or is simple to understand, then it won't sink in or stay in. They still look after themselves and still knit and crochet. They have recently asked for a computer to play games again. So I'm considering an IPad or an X-Box. What would be the easiest for a person to use?

View 2 RepliesThis is an absolutely AMAZING $10 iPad application for home studio recording. I have nothing t do with the company. I originally purchased $1500 of Euphonix Controllers (MC Mix and MC Transport). This does much of what they did for less and a much smaller footprint!

Looks very promising indeed.
Anyone using the iPad as a Music Controller similar to the Logitech Squeezebox? I currently have my iTunes Music stored on a NAS drive which my iBook or iMac has been directed to look to that location. The computers are away from my stereo, but I do have an AirPort Express that I might be able to use. The main question is anyone hooking all of this together and is there an app where I can use the iPad to control the music. I know that I can VNC into my iMac and control the machine via remote desktop, but I was looking for something a bit more simple.

I have created a popover controller which is initiated with a view controller that view controller is composed of tableview. With this table view in one cell I have an option of saved photo library. Where I want to use imagepicker controller.
But I am unable to do. Because it says that imagepicker controller can not be created without popovercontroller.
But i need both option like in popover the tableview contents with imagepicker option.

Anyone know if any ipad games have a feature to use your iphone or ipod touch as game controller for the ipad game over bluetooth? I know scrabble has a way to see your tiles on an iphone connected via bluetooth, but haven't heard of any other games as of yet.
I think it would be a really cool feature. You could prop up your ipad on a table and whip out your iphone and start playing.
Can I use the Ipad as a wireless server controller ... like a wireless mouse? IE: Have the Ipad sync to my laptop like a second screen? Have the screens mirror each other so I can use the Ipad touch screen to play my music files? I have over 100Gb of FLAC so it's not going on the Ipad itself and I'd prefer to leave the Ipad memory open for other apps when I'm not using it like this.
