Does anyone know of a way that you can use gestures on an iPad screen whine doing such things as browsing the internet like you can on apples trackpads?Its the one thing that can be frustrating with web browsing on the device!!

My iPad Air has recently been having major display issues as shown in the image. This only seems to occur when I'm browsing the internet either in Safari or Chrome. The only way I can get it to disappear is when I turn the screen off and on with the sleep/wake button. I've restarted the iPad holding down the home and sleep/wake button but the issue still occurs.
Is this something that is known and can be solved quickly or should I take the iPad Air back to Apple as I'm still under the 1 year warranty.
(I've recently had to take an iPad Air back to Apple for a separate issue, so this particular device is only 5 days old)

For the past couple of months when attempting to use the Safari Browser on our Ipad (1 1/2 years old) it began kicking us out to the home screen. This use to occur occasionally now it's multiple times during one use.

It seems kinda silly that there's a huge 10 inch multitouch screen in front of me and the only way to skip/pause/play tracks is to press the teeny 3cm buttons in the corner.
Is there anyway to use gestures in the ipod app? Or maybe a 3rd party app that lets you use gestures?
Are those multitasking gestures available on the iPad2, or has not been released yet?

View 9 RepliesHave been seeing you have to enable the new finger gestures in Settings> General. I don't see it in my settings. Seems like it would be default though. I have tried it five fingers, four fingers and six toes and still can't get it to work.

This was a big thing for me because i hate the homebutton on my iPhone. The homebutton has really many problems and after a year of using it, it stops working sometimes.
