View 1 RepliesThe wifi problem I am having involves an occasional hang of the wifi in which the webpage loading progress bar hangs at about 10%. When this happens I have to turn off wifi and turn back or reset the iPad entirely. Each iteration of doing this it hangs more frequently until finally my router no longer works and then i have to reset the router. The router becomes dead that even my other computers cannot access it. I am using a static ip address on all devices including ipad and am always very close to the router. It is indeed unsatisfactory that apple has not released even official acknowledgemenf that the problem is atleast being looked into. Is anyone else experiencing the same issues I am having?

Can I block a site so that it can't be accessed on iPad.
View 1 RepliesI use a web page that requires a right click in order view menu items. Anyone know how do this on the Ipad?
View 2 RepliesIf I am using Safari and pull up a webpage, is there any way to save it for viewing later? I need to save the webpage itself, ie:the screen, not the url.

I have accessed this page, cuteoverload.com, many times. Now all I get is a white screen when I try to open the page. I have cleared my cache, cookies, and history and shut down. Did not work.

I bought Ipad in april and had no problems until yesterday. Unable to use WiFi to connect to internet. It shows that WiFi is connected but Safari cannot open any webpages - says "Safari cannot open webpage as it is not connected to internet". Other computers are connecting fine. WiFi connected but no internet access. I have already done basic troubleshooting - updated software to 3.2.2, rebooted multiple times, network reset multiple times, renew lease multiple times, forget this network, increased brightness, autofill OFF in Safari etc. and no resolution.
View 5 RepliesI recently purchased a used iPad from Craigslist (actually not stolen) and am trying to integrate the device into my business use-case. However, I'm having trouble with a particular issue.
I need to find either an app or an inherent function of the iPad which enables me to create a PDF *from* a webpage, save that PDF, then email the PDF to a recipient.
The critical step and one I cannot find an answer to is saving a web page as a PDF. The rest (emailing the PDF) is pretty straightforward. Please note: I don't need to read or edit the PDF, only create it from a web page.
To add some additional detail to the discussion which may provide some appreciated response: I manage an e-commerce store. Orders come in via the web and I can view the packing slip in HTML format (as a web page). I need to convert that web page customer invoice into a PDF and email that to a vendor for drop shipment.
Some solutions I've tried:
- I've scoured the iPad app store but can find no app which will create a PDF from a webpage in Safari. But have I missed something?
-- I've tried the Atomic browser which has additional functionality beyond Safari but alas, no ability to PDF that I can find (though I've emailed the devs on that). Have I missed a function?
-- I've considered taking a screen capture and sending that but it ends up being unsupported by my drop ship warehouse (they print the invoice and add it to the out-going shipment) -- screen cap is too small.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I could access a webpage on the localhost of my iMac using an iPad via wifi? Is it possible? If yes, how can I set it up.
I searched through forums and literature and couldn't get a clear answer. I'm relatively new to this wonderful Apple world (I transited from PC)
