Calendar Seems To Loose Past Events?
Apr 23, 2012I seem to be loosing past calendar events. Is there a way to prevent this?

IPad 2 :: Calendar Search Only Showing Events From Past Year
Mar 18, 2012I have found that the search function on my Ipad 2 calendar only retreives events within the past 12 months. For medical patient privacy reasons I do not back-up to iCloud. Rather, I back-up locally to Outlook on my PC. I have 10+ years of events saved to my iPad. I transferred all of these events from my Palm device to Outlook and then from Outlook to the iPad. The same goes for Spotlight Search...only events from the past year. I have had the iPad 2 for 6 months and the calendar search only goes back one year from the current date. Is this universal....unique to my device?

However, the events that are entered on my PC Google calendar do appear on my iPad iOS calendar. I have a 2nd Google calendar and the events entered on the iPad do get displayed there. Am I looking for something that doesn't exist?

I've unselected and reselected my google account in the calendar app. I've set it up to sync "all events." It's still not showing up.

Apr 4, 2010I have MobileMe syncing enabled on my Mac Pro and Calendar syncing isconfigured.The Mac Pro iCal has a number of events that span multiple days and weeks. These events are not being picked up correctly on the iPad. All other single day events are picked up correctly.All of the above was occurring yesterday.Now this morning at first the problem still existed. However, about one hour ago the multiple day events started to show up. Very weird.No matter, this problem for time being seems to have resolved itself and I wonder if Apple servers orchestrating the MobileMe sync-ing have finally got the twist out of their knickers. I also notice the Birthdays setup on my Mac Pro are not sync-ing across to the iPad. I think this is a long standing issue with the iPhone Calendar as well. Shame it is taking so long for Apple in resolving the 'birthday' issue.

Jun 4, 2010I have about 8 calendars syncing great to my iPad. When I add a new event into calendar on my ipad for some reason it is entering it into one of the calendars way down my list. When I add or edit events I cant see any way of selecting which calendar the event should be entered against. I've googled and couldn't find anything.

What happened and how can I recover my events? Jun 21, 2012I turned off the calendars and my reminders from my yahoo account from my iPad and all my events went away form calendar, which was expected, but now I can't make any new event, the + button disappeared from the app. I turned back on the calendars from my yahoo account and nothing happened.

Making New Events On Calendar?
Mar 31, 2012I guess this is an iOS problem because I have it also on my phone. I know when you make an event, you get to invite people to the event and have them accept so they have the event in their calendar and viceversa. For some reason, I don't have that option. My primary calendar is gmail. If I go on the browser version gmail.com, I can invite. But if I try to do it on the iPad or iPhone, the option isn't there.

Apr 25, 2012I have had an issue with my calendar for quite some time. I enter events on the ipad. I have two calendars, one thats called my events, in red, (synced to my google email) and another sub one that ive created that has my husbands events in blue. when i go back into my calendar on my ipad, i find that i now have duplicates of all of MY events. in a different shade of red. but not the blue. if i go and delete the duplicates, sometimes im fine for a while, until it creates another set. today, i deleted duplicates and hit SYNC, and it deleted ALL of my events. when i log into my gmail calendar, it does not show duplicates. i have found that when i enter events in the atcual calendar online, it does NOT create duplicates on my ipad. i dont use icloud.
