What is the best cable to connect a guitar to the iPad? Also are there any cables that allow you to listen to the guitar out of the iPad speaker rather than having to plug in headphones?
I consider buying an ipad, but I would not have WiFi in my home (and no chance of getting one soon); hence I'm looking for possibilities to connect the ipad to the internet using a LAN (cable) connection.
I have changed the cable a couple of times and it still will not connect unless I use my iphone charger and power it off as it startes to charge. This means that it will charge but for some reason not correctly.
I cannot connect my Ipad3 using my VGA cable to a Viewsonic Pj656 projector. Works fine with IPad 2. Also tried with a newer Sony projector but no luck either. Could this be because of the higher resolution or Could it be a hardware problem with my new IPAD 3 or Compatibility with projector. Any setting I can try?
I currently have a JB original iPad2 at 5.1.1 that was jb via absinthe. I have blobs from 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 saved via Tiny Umbrella as well as RedSnow. I am thinking of upgrading this to 6.1 and want to make sure I have the steps correct
1) Connect via USB cable to my desktop Win7 box 2) Backup iPad via iTunes to my desktop [I am not using iCloud] 3) Remove all passwords on the ipad 3b) Put the iPad into DFU Mode. 4) Install 6.1 by using iTunes and hold down SHIFT key and press on Restore button then point it to the iPad2 ipsw that I downloaded from Apple URL... this will wipe out all the data on the ipad 5) Once the ipad takes the upgrade to 6.1 and reboots shutdown iTunes 7) Run the Evasion JB app and let it run its course 8) Start Use iTunes and right mouse click on the device in the sidebar and select restore from back and point it to the backup made in 2) above [use local backup created in step 2 NOT the backup iTunes automatically created when step 4 was performed] 9) Login to my account in Cydia and reinstall the purchased apps as well as the free ones which I have installed under 5.1.1 and have made note of
I won't be able to downgrade to 5.1.1 since I only have blobs from 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 correct?
I apologize if this question was asked before. I have an iPod Touch and I just bought an iPad. Before I try to sync it, can I connect both devices (iPod Touch and iPad) to my iTunes library (movies, apps, songs, etc.)?
I have an IPAD2, 3G wifi: with a Belkin Surf N300 wireless router.I am able to connect all other wireless devices but no a IPAD? The connection shows up on my IPad but on screen comes up searching than says no service? Its only a problem with connecting IPADs,could it be the router?
I have used an ipad 2 for almost three years and now got a mac pro recently. Gave my ipad to my mother. Now IM considering a new ipad air 2. One thing I want to know is, its there any way to connect it to hdmi cable and project the screen.i have to make many presentations and now with touch optimized office it will be a productivity beast. But I want to know if I will be able to use a hdmi cable with some adapter accessory.i know a vga projector cable is available... But its hdmi connection possible to make a presentation...
I don't see the iPad taking off until:I can use my cell phone data plan (ATT as of now) for 3G access. There is a front facing camera and a mic for VOIP/iChat.It multitasks. There is a way to connect to other devices over USB and/or BT (e.g. my DSLR).64GB is standard at the low price point, or there is a memory expansion slot (SD).The display bridges the gap between the speed and color of an LCD and the readability of e-ink.
I've been trying to setup AirVideo so I can stream from PC. Everything is setup fine but the app won't connect to the local server.I visit 192.168.1.4:45631. On my pc and it loads fine, but not on the ipad. So i try to connect my router (192.168.1.1) in Safari and again nothing, even though my router shows the device is connected.I use a ping app and cant ping any local device even though the devices can ping eachother, except for the ipad.
It seems like such a great idea, being able to hook up all your devices (ipod, ipad, iphone, macbook ect.) to the internet simultaneously at any given location, provided that you have wireless reception. It could also help people cut the cost of some devices such as the ipad, as you no longer need to purchase an extra sim card/plan, and can also save money on purchasing a wifi-only model. As i do not own a Mifi modem myself, i am interested to hear others opinions on the modem, and peoples experiences with them, mainly the speed of the connection.
I have an ipad 2 which i use for university and connect to my MacBook Pro through itunes to download lecture notes and store on the main computer. I am thinking of buying an ipad 2 for my 80 year old mother to use on my wireless internet at home. If i connect the second ipad to my mac to be able to print would my mac see this as a separate ipad and print out her letters and emails without changing any settings to my main ipad. my mac is still using snow leopard. If it is possible how to do this
My family recently got my mom an iPad 2 for her birthday. Now that Christmas is coming up I thought she might enjoy some speakers to go with her iPad so she can listen to her music.
Now, it would be great if she could listen to her music without having to dock her iPad or connect via an AUX cable. I've seen Airplay speakers advertised in a couple of sale papers, but I don't really have a lot of background knowledge on them. After a quick search online I didn't really come across a huge selection.
Does anyone have any suggestions for Airplay speakers? I'd like to get her something that is relatively simple (smaller, easy to set up...). She also doesn't need anything with "fantastic audio quality." She just needs something that is simple, wireless, and can causally listen to music with.
iHome ID8 speakers do not seem sync with my iPad 2 after updating it to IOS 5.1.1. I always get the message, "Charging is not supported with this accessory" while I connect it to my iPad. How can I fix it?
Just got an ihome ia100, found it does not charge either my ipod, or ipad, yet it is meant to, bought it as a good docking station, rather then using my ipad charger, but the ia100 is faulty out of the box, the remote also does work, yet the battery is full, checked battery condition with multimeter.
