I need an app that will allow me to create forms and let a person fill them out then sign them with their finger or stylus. Ideally I could then export a PDF of the signed form for storage. I know Apple uses such an app in their stores when they sell you something so it's possible.
I am an elementary administrator and want to create a form that I can complete while conducting informal observations. Ideally, I would like to be able to complete the form, email it to the teacher, and store the data for future use. Is there an app for this?
Is there an iPad app for forms you can create and use that's tailored to the iPad. In this instance I'm looking to create a server build check list. It'd need to have areas I'd simply check or x off something was done. Other sections would need to allow for typing in info like server name and ip address assigned to it. Maybe another section for signing off a signature for completion. Is there anything like this out there?
I've been trying to organize and create a portfolio of video projects I have worked on to display for clients. Is anyone else doing this? If so, do you have any good recommendations on how you are organizing and labeling your content for display?I don't like using the Movies app because you can't create folders and organize. (or can you?) I don't like having my content mixed in with my movies and TV shows...Is there a good 3rd party app for creating and organizing a portfolio? I can't seem to find one that I like.I've tried making an album in iPhoto, but you can't label the content and sort it. It all just goes into the album. (unless I am missing something?
I would like to be able to put my invoice form on the ipad, fill it out and have the customer sign it and then email it to our office and the customer's office. Can't find a program to do this, but would a drawing program with layers do it? I just would like to get a signature on site as I have a disclaimer statement that would be nice to have acknowledged.
I have been using my iPad on forums and find some where the iPad can't be used. For instance, if I try to edit an bay page, I can't set the cursor insert point. Also when I click an data entry field, the keyboard doesn't pop up.
I would like to create a form that can be filled out on the iPad specifically I do property management and would like to have my rental applications iPad based where they can fill out the info directly on my iPad
it doesn't matter where the form has to be created, ideally I can create forms like these on MS Word and transfer them to iPad any suggestion?
For my work, I would love to have a form that I could use and edit on my iPad for each client. Ideally, the form would have drop down menus and I can select the appropriate item. Then I could print the entire form after I have completed it.
I am not sure where to begin, as of now our system is entirely paper. I have created a PDF file that has drop down menus, but every time I export it to word or try and export it to my iPad in PDF form, the menus don't show up.
I am looking for ways I can take my forms and convert them so they can be modified and saved. I found a picture of an iPad doing exactly what I am looking to do but does not say what program they used to do it. I called Apple to have them help me but was told that it is impossible to know what program was used even though I took this screen shot from their website.
Since downloading this app a couple of months ago, it has run well without problems. However I'm not sure whether There has been an update recently but I cannot send any PDF forms from the app by email. When I try to send by email I get a pop up saying 'cannot send message using mail app'.
I've encountered a fair number of online forms for which I can't access some of the fields from any browser, with any user agent, from any iOS device and it's really dampening the whole "iWww" experience. In fact even this Apple Support Message field is crippled since there doesn't seem to be any way to leverage the text formatting buttons. Flash I could care less about, but what's going on with these seemingly standard web fields?
How do you select an autocomplete item on the iPad keyboard dock? I just got it and have a problem when typing an email. When I type in the first few letters of an address, the individual's name comes up. But tab doesn't complete the name. It inserts those first few letters only, not the email address.
The dock keyboard doesn't work in web forms at all. The iPad on screen keyboard pops up when you select a field in a web form - even on this support site. I had to unseat the dock to type this question!

I have a fire safety inspection form in PDF format that I would like to use on the ipad. I have been able to open it but cannot fill in any of the fields.Does anyone know of an application that I can use to fill in PDF forms on the ipad? If not can they be converted somehow to open as fillable forms in pages or numbers?
I just downloaded iCab. It seems t look good but when I logon to some forums (e.g. the talk.maemo.org forum) it says I am logged in but then the logon prompt reappears. Other browsers (including those on the iPad logon normally
I have the same email account set up on Outlook installed on a Windows system as well as on the mail app of an iPad1.
When I opend a PDF document that has forms filled with data from OUtlook I can see all the saved form data. However all the saved field data of the same form document would be missing if opened from the mail app of the iPad.
The phenomenon happens to all PDF forms.
What could be the problem? How could I overcome it?
Im looking for app that could make and send simple online order form (with html5 localstorage fallback for offline) via email. Just regular input fields thats all.
I've tried campaign monitor, mailchimp but they rely on their own back-end and can't forward the filled forms to our emails. Most of the survey tools are bad as well since they're structured for surveys rather than collecting individual orders (polldaddy for example).
Do I have any other choice than to build form myself and run it in the browser?
When I get into certain websites through Safari on my iPad 2, I need to enter my contact information for logging into them. To avoid typing the information every time, I want to set up my iPad to auto-fill the necessary details. How can I accomplish this?
I need some help from you iPad pros. i purchased my iPad in order to help me keep track of 150 students. I need to be able to have a variety of checklists, have on hand pdfs of medical forms, and so on. I have Bento, but it has been a little hard to work with and won't let me use simple checklists. On my Mac, Curio lets me do everything I want, but they have no iPad application.
I am looking for an app where I can design my own company form. ie Proposals letterheads etc. I need to be able to open the particular template and after adding my content... BE able to have the option to SAVE AS and have the original template un-touched. I tried pages but I don't think I can keep the template as it is.
I know Apple is not compatible with Adobe Flash. However, can I run Adobe Acrobat on my iPad so I can receive, open, FILL OUT forms, and then save and or email them? Is anyone using their iPad in an enterprise environment with these functions enabled?
Would anyone know where I can go to find out about app creation? I am working on an app. But have come to a point where I do not know how to create a 360 degree VR video that the end user can control by moving their finger over the video. I want to know the proper page size, format and DPI.
