Nov 27, 2010we running an iPad pilot within our company and I'd like to use the internal wifi guest network. the guest network is using a loghin page with userid and password and a little checkbox to accept the terms.when i connect with the ipad (and iphone as well) and fill in the required fields it nicely connects. but after sleep or a reboot it keeps coming with the login page and needs the uid/pw/checkbox. I can make the ipad remember the uid/pw and it fills them in the login page but it keeps wanting the checkbox.there should be some automatic protocol to auto login so I connect to the company wifi just like it is at home (i know, wpa2 at home is completely different, but for the end user is isn't

Feb 20, 2013I have a Ipad 3 at workplace. To use the Wifi available in Workplace , i have to login to the splash page as soon as i select the Wifi from Settings. Once i enter my credentials i am connected to WIFI. But if i move away from workplace and come back again , i have to enter the login details again to get connected to Wifi. Atleast i end up entering these credentials 2 or 3 times daily. Is there a way to avoid these login in splash page. I searched google and tried to make safari to remember the password , but that didnt work as well.
Is there any app in Appstore or Cydia. My Ipad is jailbroken , i couldnt find any app in appstore or cydia to avoid this.

Auto-start And Loop .mov In Safari?
Jul 20, 2011I am creating a website where I need to embed a .mov movie, autostart it and keep looping it. On a windows pc and on a mac pc it works but on an IPad (2) I need always to start the movie manually and it does not loop. I tried the <embed> as well as the <video> (html5) tag but it does not want to autostart and loop.

Jun 27, 2010All of a sudden when I attach my Ipad, Itunes will not start.(has been working since launch day of the Ipad) If I manually start Itunes all is well.
I have confirmed that the Itunes will start when Ipad is plugged in check box is checked.

Most of the time, I do not want or need iPhote to open and would like to shut this feature off.

How To Turn Off Itunes Auto Start For IPAD 2 & PC
Aug 31, 2011I'm running iTunes 10.3.1 on a Windows 7 Pro and have a IPAD2 4.3.3 (JB).I mistakenly said yes when asked if it was okay to autostart iTunes when my IPAD was plugged into the USB port. Now I want it to stop.
1. On the summary tab options:
"Open iTunes when this iPad is co..." is unchecked & greyed out
2. Edit/Preferences/Devices:
"Prevent Ipad from syncing automatically" is checked
3. I would rather not set the "Apple Mobile Device" service to "Manual" because other programs besides iTunes use it.

Auto Capitalisation And Auto-correct No Longer Working
Nov 27, 2011I am trying to use the Apple wireless keyboard with Pages on the iPad and I am wondering if anyone is able to provide some assistance with some issues i'm having?
When using the Apple wireless keyboard with Pages, auto capitalisation and auto-correct no longer work as it would if using the inbuilt onscreen virtual keyboard. This is not a major issue, more of an annoyance.
Does anyone know how I can change this? Either changing settings in Pages or maybe using a different word processor which does auto-correct and auto-capitalise using the bluetooth wireless keyboard?

Oct 18, 2010when i try to use safari, it says "secure website" and has a username and password. this is even for google.when i try to use my ny times crossword app or evernote, it says "ax.init.itunes.apple.com:80" password will be sent in the clear and then has a space for username/password. it's never asked for this before.it won't connect with anything having to do with the internet, and nothing with the internet has changed at this location. when i go to the wi-fi in settings, it's using the locked network i've set up.

Sep 5, 2010I have this forum (and the iPad forum) open in Firefox on my desktop PC. But almost every time I reply or post, even after an hour or less, I have to login again. It's no big deal, but can that be avoided somehow? Most of the many other forums I use keep me logged in.

Cannot Login To FaceTime
Jun 10, 2012I'm having problems logging into FaceTime. Have been using it ok since we got my daughters iPad2 at Christmas but all of a sudden cannot login.
I enter the apple ID which is my email address and then my password, it goes to the next screen, where I hit next but it keeps on reverting to the original screen.
I have tried this on two separate accounts and also created a new account for my wife but cannot login on any of them.
