I don't have my ipad yet but I will be getting it soon through my employer. One of my fellow employee asked me the other day how to underline text in her email on her ipad. I have a MacBook and just assumed that command U would underline text like it does in my regular email. It does not work. So is there a way in the mail program on ipad to underline and bold text or do I have to compose in another app and then copy and paste?
I just set up Mail on my iPad and I have no problem sending and receiving mails. BUT when I connect to my e-mail account through the internet, I cannot enter text in the e-mail body, although I can only fill out the recipient's address and the subject.
With the new iOS version you may change to bold and italics when editing in Mail. However, if you compose a mail by cutting and pasting from other apps, you often end up with varying text sizes in the mail. Is there any way to change the complete mail into one text size?
I think it's absurd that the Mail app there is absolutely no function to format text. Even the simplest colors, bold, italic, underlined.Do you think we're going to see some implementation in iOS 4?

I've started using Goodreader and love it, but I cannot figure out how to undo formatting, for instance when I accidentally underline the wrong word. All of the online pages refer to an undo button and show a left-pointing arrow, but I can't find a screen where the undo button appears. I can't find the button.

Won't Work With Safari / Font Appear Blur And Links With Random Underline
Apr 16, 2010
Does anyone else think that certain fonts appear blurry? At the very least they don't seem to be crisp. Is this a resolution issue or a rendering issue?
Also, does anyone else get links with underlines that are double thickness? It seems to happen randomly. I notice It happening on several sites including this one.
