Adjust Both Raw And Jpeg While Editing Photos

I'm trying to get a workflow for when I'm away doing some photography so that I don't need to take my macbook.
I plan on shooting in Raw+Jpeg, importing to ipad then when i get home importing the Raw only for processing. BUT, I want to do some light processing while I'm away so I can upload draft images to my mobileme gallery. So this is the question, when I edit on my ipad will it adjust BOTH Raw and Jpeg's? Can I deleted the Raw's from my iPad and only keep the Jpegs or does the iPad keep them as a package.
Unfortunately I can't test this as I'm still waiting for my camera connection kit to be delivered.

Do you have to change your photos from jpeg to something else for them to download into the iPad? I keep syncing the itunes program to the iPad from my computer but the photos do not show up on the iPad.

How Many Jpeg Photos Can Be Stored On A 32GB ?

I have over 26'000 photos in my Aperture 3 library. Assuming I'm only syncing photos, how many of those can I fit on the iPad 32GB? Seeing that only the jpeg previews are synced, the indicidual 12MB raw files shouldn't be a storage problem.

Can't figure out why some of my scanned jpeg photos can be imported into my iPad through iTunes and others can't. the message I get is "holiday.jpeg was not copied to the iPod because it cannot be played on this iPod."

Is there a way to copy photos(JPEG or RAW) from CF card directly to iPad 2?
There is a Chinese company that made an adapter called MIC CF card adapter for iPad 2.However, it literally fried the connector on my friend's iPad 2. Twice. The first time the Apple Store replaced the iPad 2. The Chinese company sent a new replacement MIC CF adapter. It worked well for a few days, until the connector fried again. this time it also killed a Sandisk Extreme III 16GB CF card. The Apple Store refused to replace or even repair my friend's iPad 2.

I'm finding that I've really developed a fondness for some of the photo editing apps you can use on the iPhone/iPad. The touch screen just seems to be a better medium for me to express my creativity than the mouse and keyboard. The issue though is that I would rather use the iPhone to take the actual picture itself, then edit it on the iPad.

I have been experimenting with camera imports. If I shoot as jpeg OR RAW all seems fine. I can import with camera connector, edit with Photogene etc. However, if I shoot RAW+jpeg, even though there are 2 files on the camera and the import app labels the thumbnail RAW+jpeg, only the jpeg file seems to be imported.

Converting JPEG Images With Text To PDF In Better Quality?

So I had some jpeg images with text that I need to convert to PDF/ePub so I can read it on iPad. I downloaded Adobe Acrobat and using OCR get all of the text, but it's not in really good quality. How could I make it better quality? I can highlight and copy it, but if I do copy it to let say MS Word it copies in one big block of text without images. Is there a way to make text better quality?

I'm using iTunes to download photos from my PC (Windows 7) to my iPad2. Some photos download OK but some don't. With these photos I get the following information "Some of your photos were not copies to the iPad because they cannot be displayed on your iPad".
