Add Your Own NC 17 Ratings To Your Own Movies

Can you add your own "NC 17," "R", "PG13" ratings to your own movies you add to to your ipad in itunes.
The parental restrictions that Apple has for movies only seems to work with movies downloaded from the itunes store. You can add just about anything else when you open "get info" apart from a censor rating.... I think this is a major oversight and strikes me as something very easy to fix with a software update..... you might have some ripped dvd movies or just some other personal stuff that you don't want other people or your kids to see but you don't mind them using your ipad for all other uses.

Should Ratings Sync To ITunes

Just got my itunes migrated to new Mac Mini but my ratings did not make it over. Just went thru a big block of songs on my iPad and rated them so I can setup some Best of playlists. When I synced it to iTunes, I assumed those would come over on the sync, but I am not getting any ratings on the Mini. Is there some setting or way to get these over. Took about an hour to get to this point.

Suddenly Disappeared Stars Ratings

Few weeks ago when I bought iPad I had stars ratings under apps or songs in itunes or app store on iPad, but they suddenly disappeared less tham week ago... They are not visible in the preview of apps, only when I tap on each app I see stars aboce reviews.

Free Apps And Trashy Ratings

Just curious why people feel the need to give lousy ratings to free apps without a reason. I understand that the app may not do all that the downloader wants it to do but, afterall, it was free. It's like someone giving out free vanilla ice cream cones and people coming back and complaining that the ice cream didn't have chocolate chips in it. If one is trying to be constructive, he/she should say why the app got the rating it did. Thanks for listening and letting me vent.

Ratings From Songs On Itunes Dont Show When Streamed

so ive tried out the home share feature to stream my music library to my ipad but one problem im having not sure if thats just how it is. my ratings from my songs on itunes don't show on my ipad when streamed. also say if i rate a song on my ipad it doesn't transfer and rate within the itunes app is this some type of bug?

IPad Movies App - Stream Movies From My ITunes Library Which Has Roughly 200 Films

I stream movies from my iTunes library which has roughly 200 films, is there no other way of finding the film I want other than scrolling through an endless list of film posters? This seems like a glaring omission to me, unless of course there is a search function that I am missing!
Also as a caveat, I have the ipad1 and this thing can only handle showing about 10 film posters before having to restream again when browsing a large collection. Perhaps the ipad2 with more RAM is more efficient at this.

Downloaded Both Movies And Photos From My Camera - Cannot Find A Way To Include Those Movies Into Imovie

I have worked as a graphic artist for 10 years and am not new to imovie or photoshop etc. I am trying to learn imovie on the ipad. i have two questions, sorry if they have been covered. i've downloaded both movies and photos from my camera but cannot find a way to include those movies into imovie. is there a way? Next, can i proceed to edit that created movie on my imac. I have moved it into itunes and saved it on my hard drive but imovie, latest version, on the mac can't see it.

I'm accentuating on the "ACCESS" here as I would like to learn about how people watch movies on iPad. I'm a new iPad owner who wants to be able to watch a bunch of movies while traveling on air with no access to wifi or Internet. Do you rent movies from iTunes or Netflix or... How do you access to movies? (On a side note, as someone new to this, I was astounded to find out how limited the iTunes' movie selection is. It's quite pathetic to be frank, and I don't get it. Must be some sort of licensing issues going on?)

I've set up folders for my Photos, but I have been unable to do the same for my movies. Now I've ended up with my personal movie collection, right next to the awful lot of short movies that I take with my camera. Any Benefit Of Getting HD Movies On It?

I wanted to add a couple of my favorite films on my iPad for quick and easy access anytime I am in the mood. What I found many times on iTunes is that a somewhat newish movie will be available in HD for rental only, but you can purchase the movie in standard def. I have HD TV, and try to purchase nothing but Blu-Ray movies for my bigscreen, and I do see a big difference there. I'm wondering if there is really much difference noticeble on the iPad?BTW, for fans of The Godfather Trilogy (my favorite). The iTunes price for each of the three movies is $9.99, but I got the Trilogy for a recently reduced price of $17.99. That basically gets Godfather 3 for free, which is exactly how much I was willing to pay for it. Not even sure I can justify the disk space.
