As described in the title, The iPad 2 won't turn on.A restart doesn't work, the screen displays the Charging Logo for a few seconds. (Even when not plugged in!!)I have tried charging for a few hours and the charging logo is still on a very low red.
I have tried pushing start and bottom button. The turn off icon comes on and I turn it off but it won't come on. If the apple icon comes up it is fast and goes away fast. This started right after I was prompted to update to IOS 5.1.
my iPad while on the charger goes into a cycle of a blank screen, charging screen, then the apple icon. It will not do anything off the charger or connect to itunes. its been doing this for a couple of hours
Whenever I tap the camera icon on the screen of my iPad 2, it shows only blank screen instead of camera and its settings. But the cameras for instagram and photobooth are working perfect on my iPad. What are the troubleshooting steps for solving these issues with camera settings?
When I am pressing the 'videos' icon the screen is going black and blank. No tapping on screen has any effect. However 'home' button returns me to home screen. getting 'videos' icon rework and display the videos content available in my ipad ? Few days back I actually installed the icloud software. Is it anything connected with this installation ?
I finally noticed the little icon on the lock screen that you can puch and it immediately opens a slide shoew of all the phoes in your library.†† I think this is a bit of a security issue -- I dont' wan people being able to look at my pictures wtithout authorizatino from me.†† This supasses my permission and lets anyone look at them while the IPAD is still "locked"††Cn w turn off/disable this icon selection somehow?†† I've notobeeen abe to find anything† yet.†
When I plug my iPad in to the USB port of my lap top, I get a "Not Charging" indication near the battery indicator? I'm still living off the first initial charge through the supplied adapter but really planned on charging it via my lap top or PC.
The charger works, just charged my iphone. Also, is it true that you should not leave the charger plugged into the wall or pc when not in use as it ruins the cord? And final question...do the iphone and ipad need to completely die before charging?
I bought my iPad in mid April this year and just lately it is not charging. I use an extension chord to plug in my iPads adapter, I have tried using the wall, but still nothing.
At first I found if I plugged the docking cable in and the out the plug in, it charged, now there is nothing. I have not done anything that could damage the dock port, and I have tried both the iPad adapter and my iPhone adapter and neither work, but both charge my iPhone straight away.
I have recently bought an iPad 2, and have been using the same wall charger for my iPad and my iPhone. Phone is still charging, but my iPad prompts "not charging" each time I connect it. I have tried cleaning the charging port, have rebooted it and it still displays the same response.
I had just tried to wake my iPad up from sleep, but the screen stayed blank and nothing happened. Same when I held the power button, and same when I held the power and home buttons together.Panicking, I plugged it in to the charger and it luckily booted up fine, with 90% battery!
My iPad Air won't turn on even when plugged into charger. Was working fine the last time I used it (and battery level was about 50% at that time). 24 hours later it's a black screen and does not respond to any attempts to turn it on.
I have my iPad docked and it is plugged into the charger that came with the iPad. The icon on the iPad says that it is charging but it is still loosing battery charge. It is not even maintaining the charge it has. ? Safari (latest)
I don't know if this has come up but, when I plug into a pc, the battery percentage marker changes to read "Not Charging". However, after I unplug it, the battery percentage has increased. Sometimes to 100% if I leave it plugged long enough. Now, is it really charging or not....????
I have a Quad core mac pro that is two months old. I usually run windows on it via boot camp. When my new iPad is plugged directly into a USB port (not a hub) the ipad says "not charging" I read that iPads don't charge on PCs, something about 10 watt ports. But clearly my USB port has the juice... so... Apple.... ***?
My iPad (3rd Gen) seems to stop charging if it is plugged into my MBP if either the iPad is closed or if the MBP goes to sleep. My iPhone charges whether the MBP is awake or asleep or even if the MBP is closed. There is a screen display that shows the iPhone is charging. The iPad only has the tiny icon at the top of the screen that show it is charging. However, the battery's % charged does not increase if the lid is closed when I am charging the iPad if the lid is closed on the iPad or if the iPad off after pressing the on off button. Is this normal?
Info: MacBook Pro (15-inch Late 2008), Mac OS X (10.7.3)
When I plug my ipad into the wall, it will not charge, however when I plug it into my computer it will charge. It's the charger that came with the ipad, but even though the ipad will not charge with it, when I plugged an iphone in it, the iphone started to charge.
Is there a problem with the charger, or the ipad, and how can I fix this?
I have had my iPad 2 plugged in charging for sometime now and the battery percentage has shown 99% with the charging bolt symbol for many hours now. It has yet to show 100% with a plugged in symbol and my iPad 2 has been plugged in for about 6 hours now.
