My iPad asks to join the correct wifi network but because my signal is weak I lose the signal intermittently. My issue is that it continuously asks me to enter the password even though it's a network I have previously and successfully joined. Any way I can get it to remember my password for me and join automatically?

How Can I See A WiFi Password That My Manager Put?
Sep 13, 2010
I took my iPad to work today, my manage saw the iPad and asked me if I knew that our area had a secret WiFi network.
I had no clue. He took my iPad and connected to the hidden network and input the password too.
Both him & I were online w/ the iPad for at least half the day..
My question here is......how can I see what the password is on my iPad, so that w/ my iPod Touch I can connect it to that same hidden WiFi network?
I'm pretty sure my boss won't give me that info..the network is solely for when work laptops need internet, but no one uses WiFi at work cause there are ethernet cables everywhere...but the WiFi still exists (though hiddenly) at work.
My Ipad regularly requires me to reinput my password for WiFi. Sometimes will work for long period of time, others, will require me to reinput after only a few minutes. All of this on my home network.
iphone, ipod touch and now ipad will not accept password in order to access WPA wireless. HP Netbook accepts password with no problem. But on Apple products wireless access only gets in by using Hex key. Why is this? If I only have password and can't locate Hex key I can't get onto wireless. What to do?
For some reason I cant connect to my works wifi network. I recognizes the network and I can enter the password but then, after about 10 seconds I get the message that I've entered the wrong password (the password is correct). I have no problems getting on the network with my iPhone.
My iPad has the 3.2.1. firmware. I've done a reset to factory network settings.
Wireless network is Cisco 1242 AP controlled by a wlan controller.
I typed in a wifi password into my iPad and it works great. I have since forgotten the password and would like to use the password on my laptop as well....I dont have access to the router or the admin person, so it's up to me pretty much.
Is there a way to find out what the wifi password I typed in was?
My Ipad pops off my home wireless network often, which is annoying (no similar problem with laptops). More annoying is that it sometimes wants me to reenter the password to the wireless network, which is something long and unrememberable. If the Ipad remembers it sometimes, shouldn't it always remember it?
Why does my iPad drop my password to my home wifi? It might happen three times a day or once every three weeks. But just out of nowhere I'll be prompted to re-enter my password. It's annoying because my password is about 20 random mixed characters long and can't be memorized. Is this a common problem? Can I fix it?
I just bought a Ipad 3G 64Gb. In my home it can connect to my WPA wireless network fine. At job there is a WEP WiFi network wich I cant connect I'm sure the password is fine but always I get "Incorrect password" error. I tried with my laptop and Iphone 3G (IOS 4.1) with no problem, but with the brand new Ipad there is a issue I tried by looking information about this and it seems is a IOS bug
I keep finding my ipad dropping it's WiFi connection - in the middle of an active session. Looking at one web page, click a link -> tries to reconnect.
It seems to forget its password - I need to re-enter to reconnect. A real pain.
I connected my ipad to my laptop as directed to i-tunes for the download. Wi-Fi "Select a Network" keeps asking me for a password. I have tried every password I could have used when we had the Wi-Fi installed at our home, where I will be using the Ipad most of the time. What can I do?
Can't Get New Ipad 3 To Take Password To Get On Wifi
May 31, 2012
I've gone through the Setup process with Itunes since my new Ipad3 would not connect to my Wifi which is on and working. Now when I click on my Network, the keyboard comes up for me to type my password. The response is "unable to join the Network" and underneath that is a button saying Dismiss.
This is my second Ipad. The first one gave the same response to me and to the cable tech who set up the WiFi. He could get on the wifi without a password set up but when the password was added he got the same response. He changed routers in case that was a problem but it didn't solve anything. After 1 1/2 hours, he gave up and said he thought the Ipad was faulty. So today I took it back and exchanged it
I have Ipad3 with wifi 16GB with no cellular program Dell computer with Windows XP
