Is there a limit to the number of 'Notes' you can have?? I started a 5th 'Note', and now it seems as if one of the existing Notes has disappeared!! Did I do something wrong. And, is it possible to get that Note back? It had a whole wack of important stuff in it!
The notes on my iPad do not match the Notes that I have on my MacBook. I have disabled sync through MobileMe because I have an iPhone running iOS 4 and the iPad will not support sync over the air. I have used the replace notes on iPad function in iTunes numerous times, results are the same. Some notes that were modified on my Mac are not modified on the iPad. The Note count does not match and deleted notes from the Mac reappear on the iPad.
I updated my mac this morning to Mountain Lion from Lion. My iPad software is up to date with version 5.1.1. Last Sunday, I typed into notes (at that point is was in the mail account) on my Mac approximately 10 new notes. I have 250 notes on my iPad including the new ones from last Sunday, all of which appear in the account "On My iPad". However, when I compare some of the notes, they were not updated in Mountain Lion versus what appears on my iPad. How do I synch my iPad Notes to Notes on my mac?
There are two things that confuse me about the Notes App:
1) sometimes when I select, there are no handles and the only option is copy
2) sometimes when I tap to insert, it pretends it is read only. I need to tap all over. Holding my finger down does not help.
This leads me to suspect that there are modes in Notes. Or it is just buggy. I called Apple Care since my iPad is still pretty new. The person who answered it said my question was not in the script and then advised me to restart the iPad. I asked her enough questions that she said she would get a senior adviser. After 16 minutes, the call terminated. Case number 317643035.
There was a similar discussion about the iPhone in January "DOES anyone else have problems with BUGS in the NOTES of the iphone 4s ios 5???"
iphone 4s ios 5 NOTES app. It is hard for me to believe that the Notes App is buggy. Does anyone have insight into whether Notes is buggy or whether it has modes?
I want to sync my iPad notes with iCloud which I use for all my other syncing, but when I try to sync IPad notes with mail notes on my iMac it prompts me to create an @me.com email account. I thought that was long ago discontinued. After searching forums for advice and answers, most of what I read is outdated. So, what is the current situation with that? Do I need to create that to sync iMac mail notes with iPad notes? Using Lion on an iMac and iPad iOS 5.1
I sync my MBP, my iPod touch 3rd gen, and my iPad to Mobile Me (dot Mac). The other day I noticed my iPad was missing all my notes, some of which I've been adding to for over one year.
The notes were gone from every device mentioned. I restored the backup of the iPad from iTunes and it too had no notes. I checked the Trash on the Mac and in the Mail app of OSX. Nothing found.
It is probably too late now -- if you have any suggestions however I am open to hearing them.
Note: I originally was keeping these "notes" in a Draft Mail document, but moved them to Notes so they would be searchable on the iPad. Information: MacBook Pro 2.4GHz, 2GB RAM Mac OS X (10.6.5) iPad 64GB 3G
Bought an Ipad2 off a buddy to make sure I'd use it. I used it all the time. I love it. I fully intend on buying a Ipad3 (with more memory) when I get home. (which is good -- keep reading)
However, I'm currently stuck here. So when I stepped on my Ipad and Shattered the screen beyond use.... Well, I can't fix it right now. (can't mail items with batteries in them anymore.)
A few months wait to get it all sorted out is no big deal but there were a few things I was typing up on the "notes" app that comes with all apple products default.... that I would like immediate access to. I could be wrong, but I would have sworn when I first plugged in the Ipad, it asked me if I wanted to put all the notes from my IPOD onto it. Is this true, is there a way to access them without a functioning Ipad.
i Had to delete and then re intall an app. On re installing it is started to appear on the screen then suddenly disappeared. When I get into the app store it says that it is installed but not anywhere on the screen. Tried it again with another app and the same thing happened.
I have 2 emails set up my private email (hotmail) and another POP3 email set up on my iPad and I have something like 1000 mails on the POP3 server.
It has normally been no problems but now all of a sudden my mailbox is empty and it doesn't fetch the information from the server (old mails). It works though, in the way it receives new emails. But the inbox has been emptied 2 times now. All mails from this server is gone from the iPad.
I'll be browsing through my emails and then suddenly all my emails disappear !. Definitely not deleted The curious thing is that when I retrieve emails from my pc they are all downloaded. It's as if the iPad is actively linked with my isp server copy and not being stored locally on the iPad...
Already I install some application from apple store like ( wild light) but I keep seeing the advertisements down for other applications it's become noisy. If there is any way to disappear these advertisements?
I have had no issues with my 64GB 3G ipad and suddenly tonight, my iphone has 4 bars sitting next to the router, the ipad has one dot and I cannot open a pdf in my e-mail. I tap on the pdf attachment and it just sits at 0 of 2.5GB. Nothing happens??? I think it just updated to 3.2.2 OS ... could that be the issue?
My mail sends and receives fine but once I open the mail it is there to be read but will disappear once I exit. The "Mailboxes" only list the Inbox and I cannot get Sent or Trash. At the moment I forgot to BCC myself initially so anything I have sent from the ipad is sitting in space.
I have noticed that places was available for all of my photos on my iPad despite me not having iLife 09 until a synced my iPad for a 2nd time. After the 2nd sync places disappeared form the photos app. After several hours of testing here is what I found.Restoring does nothing to return places back to the iPad. I tried both restoring as a new iPad and restoring from backup. What seems to do the trick is adding a new photo to iPhoto that is encoded with GPS information.
I have a number of applications that I have either paid for or accepted as free and many of them have disappeared over night.Example- Omni Graffle, Keynote, iBooks, Draw, FT and many others. Where did they go and how do I get them back.
I have downloaded some new apps but they dont show up on the ipad. I can search for them and launch them from the search page but even after syncing they remain invisible - Whats gives? are there only so many pages on the ipad for icons?? Information : iMac 27" Mac OS X (10.6.4)./
I'm having trouble to start my iPad. When I plug it into energy the Apple logo appears and disappears, all the time until I unplug the energy. But when I plug the ipad into my MacBook, the screen blinks very quickly, and blinks all the time until I unplug. I recorded a video so you can see, it's not possible see the screen blinks when I plug the iPad into my mac because is very quick. [URL].
I have had the iPad on te 19 days on a trip. I went to find a couple of things tat were I in the inbox but they have disappeared on me and I did not deleted them and now I cannot find them. I'm scared after a period of time they might have disappeared on me.
