View 1 RepliesIcloud Has not been able to back up in four weeks. It just spins and stops. It is locked connected to wifi and plugged in. Can not seem to get it to do a successful backup. Seems to have started with upgraded software.
View 1 RepliesBeen having a consistent issue where my iPad 2 (running iOS 7) won't backup to iCloud. Doesn't matter if I trigger the backup manually or just plug it into power and let it do its thing overnight.
Example: right now the progress bar is at around 15-20% and the time left indicates less than one minute. It's been that way for the past hour.
how do you restore an iCloud backup when you have apps from a US and EU accounts? Everything is frayed out, only managed to restore the US apps.
View 2 RepliesI just updated my iPad 2 and girlfriends iPhone 4 to beta 2. Restored the ipad from icloud backup in about 20 minutes. now its downloading all the apps over the air. Its going to take awhile. My girlfriends phone is reading 16 hours to finish the icloud backup. I like the idea of icloud but plugging it into the computer is alot quicker however if you choose to backup to the cloud you no longer have current backups on your computer. Apple needs to either enable both at the same or build something into mac osx that lets itunes download your current backup every night so you always have the most current backup ready to be installed in less then 16 hours.
View 23 RepliesI have my iPad4 automatically backing up to iCloud at night when charging and connected to Wi-Fi. Everything works fine and the backup size is 1.6Gb.
With this auto backup does it mean that everytime it backs up automatically that it backs up everything again or just what has changed since the last backup. I don't like the idea that the backup is using 1.6Gb of my monthly allowance everytime it backs up. That would mean anything up to 48Gb being used if it backed up every day for 30 days of the month. If this is the case then I will be turning off this backup as I only have 25Gb monthly allowance.
My ipad can no longer back up to i cloud. It always say back up could not be completed. I tried turning icloud backup off, delete the backup and starter all over again but it wont work. One more thing, after i turn off the backup, delete it; when i turn it on it shows some storage already occupied and I wonder.
View 4 RepliesI currently have two devices, iPhone and iPad. However my old iPad is showing in the backup in icloud, so three. However I can't delete it as it says it is in use.
However I no longer need it as I have set my new iPad up from fresh.

On my iPad 4 there is a message that has come up. the message reads- "This iPad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happens when this iPad is plugged in, locked and connected to Wi-Fi.' When pressing the okay button nothing happens and the message remains on the screen. I am unable to do anything with iPad with the message is on screen.

View 4 RepliesI wanted to make sure I didn't mess something up during the back up process. I just backed up my ipad2 using iCloud, but forgot to use the power, so it backed up on battery power. The back up seems to have been successful, but did I damage anything not having it connected to the AC power source?

I have 3 gb of "other" data that I want to get rid of. Does it matter if I restore from backup from the computer or iCloud? I was really hoping to restore from backup on the computer since I have a ton of comic's synced to my comic book app that I would have to add back to the iPad individually.
Is there a benefit to restoring from the full backup on the computer and the iCloud?
I have a problem on my iPad. iPad is locked up with error message showing " This iPad hasn't been backed up for two weeks. Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked and connected to WiFi" with an Okay button. The button does not clear error, cannot turn off iPad, cannot touch screen buttons. iPad is frozen. It does show that it is connected to our WiFi system. How to clear and turn iPad off and restart?
