May 28, 2012What is the default Passcode for an iPad? I have never supplied one but if I need to change it, I need to know what the existing one is , ie the defaul one.

Unable To Work With Passcode / Can't Easily Override Passcode
May 3, 2010I set a passcode and I use the feature that only requires the passcode after a certain period of idle time. Most of the time thats what I want. But, sometimes I just want to lock it up immediately. So, is there a way to easily override the passcode delay and cause the device to immediately lock and required a passcode?

Won't Work With Passcode / Demanding Passcode When There Isn't One
Nov 5, 2010I got my iPad at the end of June from the Apple online store. A few weeks later, for no apparent reason, it requested a password for security settings, which I had not set. Since I could access the itunes store from my computer, this wasn't a major problem, so I learned to live with it. Then, three weeks ago, it requested a passcode to gain any access at all. As there seemed no alternative, I went through a complete reset, and had to reload all my apps, without any saved data (the one upside to this was getting to play "Angry Birds" all over again!). For three weeks that was OK, but now, out of the blue, it's demanding a passcode again, so I'm having to do a total reset again. Has anyone else encountered this? Looks as if I'll have to take it back to Apple

Unable To See Default Account-default Account In The Notes App Settings?
Dec 1, 2010I noticed that after upgrading to iOS 4.2 on my iPad, there is not way to choose a default account in the notes app settings.For example, on my iPhone 4 if I go to Settings>Notes it has the 3 fonts listed and a Default Account choice.
This is not the case on my iPad. If I create a note on my iPad it seems to be created on the iPad and does not sync with MobileMe.Is this happening to anybody else?

If I'm just surfing at home there's no reason to burn up 3G Mbytes on a limited plan when I can just use the WiFi.On my iPhone I can turn on the Airplane Mode but it shuts off both phone and WiFi.

I purchased an ebook from barnes &noble and when I try to download it, it tries to download it into iBooks. That fails. Is this necessary?
