a little arrow pops up next to my battery percentage indicator (extreme top right corner) sometimes it's there (to the left of the indicator), sometimes not. Sometimes it points directly at the power indicator (points to the right), sometimes it points to the right at about a 15 degree upward angle?!?!
I was listening to my local radio station through tunein radio app when I was using my running machine and that was great but when I switched it off, an arrow head appeared by where it shows you the battery life and percentage and it is still there. Does anyone know what this is and how I can get rid of it.
I just noticed it, may have been there for some time, but only after the upgrade to 7xx, I think. Just wondering what it's telling me. Maybe a new system feature telling me I should look up from the iPad screen more often?
I've noticed that in web text entry forms you cannot arrow around within the text.I noticed this ironically enough on the apple site writing a review for the ipad case.Once the text got long enough there was no scroll bar to the right and no arrows on the keyboard to arrow down to text that was now below the text entry box cut off line.
I know this has been discussed before. But lack of arrow keys to me is a big issue and flaw with the product. Many websites present a dialog or input entry box that is impossible to scroll and navigate in, without arrow keys. This even includes this website where once you enter your comments and attempt to go back to edit, you can't scroll within the data entry window.
Am I missing some new functionality with iPad that provides cursor navigation, or is everyone experiencing the same problem?
Where do you find the arrow keys (up, down, left, right) on the keyboard? I find it frustrating when working in pages or numbers and I can't move through a body of contents with the arrow keys. I've had my iPad 2 for about 3 months and still don't know where the arrow keys are?
Bought new iPad2 only shows USB conn w/arrow. Followed instructions about going to iTunes downloading with iPad2 connected everything appeared to work. Followed further instructions to authorized tried but said server was busy try later. Tried several times yesterday, same results. Tried again today still busy. Still looking at new iPad2 with nothing but an USB on screen ... so what else can this do?
When I use numbers with my wireless Bluetooth apple keyboard, I am not able to use the arrow keys to navigate within the spreadsheet. Is this by design or is there some way to fix this so that I can have full functionality with my wireless keyboard restored?
I just got my iPad and I discovered right off the bat that the popup keyboard needs an up down arrow keys for scrolling. Sometimes when I'm replying to a message in a forum, I need to scroll down to the bottom of the quoted text. But as far as I know the popup keyboard doesn't have an up down arrow keys so it's difficult to scroll. So is there a way to scroll up and down other than with the missing arrow keys?
If my post goes longer than the initial box how do I maneuver up and down without any arrow keys? This is using the screen keyboard of course. I noticed the problem on another forum when my post started running long, ended up needing to bring out the Bluetooth keyboard to make the edits.
I now have a small icon to the left of the battery percentage number at top right which is a padlock surrounded by a circular line with an arrow at one end. Can someone please explain what this is. It wasn't there originally but now never goes away.
I found that my SIM card was not enabled for roaming but the operator says he has now enabled roaming.
Some how I muted the clicking on the key board? How to get it back? Also, there is a lock icon with a circle arrow around it by the battery. Was never there before. I have shut down the iPad completely and turned it back on but it did not help.
Does the apple wireless keyboard have fully functioning arrow keys ?or is there some combination of "other brand" wireless keyboard and/or mouse via the USB dongle that would provide this functionality?
I just purchased my I-pad and went to my mail on Comcast.net. Normallly if it is a long message, there is a down arrow to scroll through the message. On the I-pad the scroll arrow does not appear. Do I need to do something on I-pad to fix this?
I know this may be very basic but what do I do to move around on the screen? I'm used to the arrow keys and the iPad keyboard doesn't have them. Touching screen to move cursor is not too accurate when composing messages.
Often times I will be on a page in Safari and go to another page, then when I touch the back arrow it goes to a page totally unrelated. For instance I. Was at a Real Estate page looking at a property. I went to a link on that page and I wound up at a MacWorld page from another day. If I look up something in Google if I touch a link in that page, I have to go bad k. To Google to get back. The four finger swipe doesn't get to the page I want either. I sure wouldn't trade this thing for a real computer. This OS leaves a lot to be desired.
