My question is - if I do this, and download some apps over the 3G network before I get home, will there be any problems when syncing with my Mac? Will the apps that I've downloaded be in danger of being wiped out? Do I need to set up this freshly-installed copy of iTunes with my iTunes store name and password before activation?I imagine that there wouldn't be a problem but if anyone knows for sure
Network Connection Timed Out / 4.2 Won't Install!?
Nov 28, 2010
I am constantly getting a "Network Connection Timed Out" error message for the past several hours in trying to update my iPad to 4.2. Does anyone know where I can get the 4.2 update elsewhere? It gets to the end of the download then gives me the error.
Purchased Apps Seems To Download But Never Downloads And Thus I Am Not Able To Install These Apps?
May 21, 2012
I am using iPad 1 and never updated it to the iOS 5. It is loaded with iOS 4 and I don't have any problem with this.Actually I purchased some apps but it shows that they are downloading but after some times download disappears and thus fails to install the apps.It continues doing the same when I try to download these purchased apps. What should I do now? Please guide..
I just got my brand new iPad from the US today... But, impossible to install any application, as the apps tap in iTunes is totally greyed out... All applications previously downloaded for my iPhone are ticked but I can't "untick" any box. The only thing I can do on the tap is ticking the global "Sync" little box : but when I do, iTunes just crashes...
Any idea why I can manually manage my applications, even those I bought specifically for the iPad?
Other important info : as I'm a French iPad user, I can't access the appstore, so I can't download and install applications directly from the device... I have to use iTunes and to sync from the computer.
I have three or four apps that will not install. Everytime I go to install something new it tells me unable to purchase and a shadow of the app shows. It will not give me the x or become wobbly. Where can I go to totally delete them? I have an iPad and I think they were iPhone only apps.
I have just updated my iPad 2 to iOS 5.1 from iOS 4.3.5. Whenever I try to download and install apps from the app store they just get stuck at "Waiting". Sometimes they get stuck for 3-5 hours or just don't download and just stay at "Waiting". I am having to use a Windows PC to send this Message on the forums as I can't download the forum app.
In my process of learning I have tested on simulators, but would really like to test my apps on my IPad. But, I cannot currently afford the Apple Developer fee which would allow me to do this via the App Store.
And so, I am hoping there is a way for me to install my apps on my IPad without having to go through the App Store. None of the apps I am building will ever be sold on the App Store as they are only for learning purposes at this point. At the point where I finally get around to making a sellable app I will then purchase the developer license.
Recently updated the iPad software. But all app updates and new purchases are not installing. "waiting" is on all new purchases. Is iTunes having problems.
Just got my new iPad 3G. Can't install apps. A white box pops up and says loading, but nothing ever happens. I have tried to install dropbox, sugarsync, and a few other apps, and they all do the same thing.
i get a message saying cannot install app. I HAVE 1.4 GB OF STORAGE AND IT STILL WONT LET ME INSTALL IT. I get a message like this when I try to. it says unable to install app.'Flick Champions HD cannot be installed at this time'then it has retry or done. I press retry and it STILL comes up with that message. What to do.I Am on an IPad 3 and I am running IOS 7.1.2 as well.
Not sure if this was already addressed but I couldn't find anything using search, so here's my issue...
I bought and installed a few apps on my ipad. Next morning when I hook it up to my PC it says there's some issue with the ipad and it needs to restore it, so I did the restore. After the restore though, when I went to the apps tab I don't see the apps I installed the other day. I went to my account and sure enough they show up there as purchases. I tried going to the app store (through both itunes and ipad) to see if a download button shows up, but instead I see the buy button and when I click it, it asks me if I'm sure I want to buy it (was thinking maybe it'll say something like "you already bought this, do you want to install?").
So what do I do? I tried checking for available downloads but it says I got everything. I ain't about to pay again for those apps, and apple does have a record of me buying them so why the heck are they not showing up on my app list?
Not Able To Install Apps Through Apple Configurator 1.1
Jul 15, 2012
Each time I try to install apps through Apple Configurator 1.1 on my iPad 2, it gives an unknown error message and says “install prohibited”. How can I avoid that error message and correct this issue?
