IBooks Upload Files Lost If IBooks App Is Deleted?
Jul 18, 2011
I downloaded my original copy of iBooks using an obsolete but still functional Apple ID by mistake. I now would like to delete this version of the app and upload another copy of iBooks using the correct Apple ID so I can ask Apple to delete the old Apple ID once and for all. Will the pdfs and other files I uploaded for viewing in iBooks be trashed if I delete the old app or will they be waiting and accessible to the new copy of the app?
Unable To Show All IBooks/Limited IBooks Available ?
Apr 14, 2010
I know this is subjective but it seems like the iBook store is really limited across nearly all categories. I know we can use the kindle app but I prefer to use the iBook app?
i'm interested in a way to quickly switch between 2 pdf's on my iPad, so i can flick back and forward between them without having to think about it. at the minute, in ibooks, i'm having to just leave the pdf i'm in, find the other pdf i want, and then open that one to switch between them.
can someone tell me if you need an third party app from the app store to read pdf's on the ipad? I understand that the ibook will not show pdf's only epubs, and email will show pdfs if they are an attachment.
What's the best app to save and view PDF files on the IPAD? I'd love to be able to pull them up to show brochures/catalogues to customers. Any help would be appreciated!!
Clearly, one of the most practical uses for iPad is to hook up to my Mac desktop, transfer documents, photos, etc, into the iPad, then display them in some remote setting. I have read some editorial comment that suggests iPad does or does not have this feature, or can only do this through iTunes. While I want to confirm that iTunes can play movies, etc (for example, while traveling), I would like also to clarify whether iPad can move and display items in some method similar to Finder/Preview.Edited to make question clearer..... iPad can have apps put on it, I know, including works and/or life(?). But out of the box, can it do simple Finder browsing and Preview displays?
Is the iPad presentation available for viewing anywhere. Just got home from golf course and am super excited about what I see. It is exactly what I was hoping it would be and a lot cheaper than I was thinking it would be. I will be getting one on day 1. But I would love to see the presentation.
I wanted to know if I can get all web pages to display like they would on a PC/MAC. When I go to sites like hotmail it displays as it would on a mobile phone. Is there a setting I can change on my iPad to stop this?
I have both an iPad 1 and 2 and run iTunes on both a WinXP and Win7.What I need to know is, can I take a hard copy DVD that I have and somehow load it and view it on my IPad? I assume that I'll have to load it in my iTunes library and then sync it.
